We LOVE this model! We had a first generation Dyson cordless stick vac and it is blown out of the water with this model. Easy to maneuver, with great suction and long battery life. Quick to charge, too. Expensive, yes, but makes daily clean-up from a shedding dog so much easier.

This is my first dyson product and i was skeptical at first espescially given the price, but i have to say after the first use it was clearly better than any vacuum I’d ever owned. It picked up so much dust i was convinced it was tricking me somehow. It really makes me wonder what my precious vacuum cleaner even picked up and what I’d been laying on. My dogs fur is a special kind of annoying because it embedd itself in everything and is difficult to get out. This thing picks it up with no problems. The attachments are very useful as well. If I’m nitpciking the only negative would be the battery. I do not have a large house by any means and depending on the suction it chooses to apply it may run down before I’m finished but that is a rarity. Also it chooses to increase or decrease the suction for whatever type of flooring or rug you have which is a lifesaver.

This Dyson vacuum did exactly what I needed: offer a variety of different vacuum heads; give me lots of suction; be light-weight and cord-free; and give me up to 60 mins of power. These things enable me to clean everything I need to clean without having to lug a heavy "regular" vacuum cleaner up and down stairs.

We bought this vacuum since we have a three story home and wanted something easy and portable without sacrificing actual cleaning power. We picked this bad boy up and it is amazing! We have the Dyson upright as well but it’s too heavy to lug around each story. This has made it painless and super easy as it’s suction power is as strong if not stronger than my upright. The only thing that kind of a bummer that I didn’t see in any of the reviews mention, is the fact that you have to hold down the trigger entire time to use it which gets kind of tiring. There’s no way to press once and let it run, it has to be held down the entire time which is the only negative, but not enough to take away the 5 star review. We also have a cat and he loves sleeping on our couches which means his hair is everywhere. This vacuum has been soo good and made it painless to remove it. We literally run the Dyson over the couch and it sucks up all the hair making it look like new. Overall amazing vacuum, definitely pricey but worth the money.

I absolutely love this vacuum. It is easy to use, powerful & convenient to clean the cars. My only negative comment is the battery life. I wish it lasted longer or could use it while it is plugged in. You get about 10 minutes of Boost mode before it is dead. Lightweight and cleans stair GREAT.

So far so good! Lightweight and the suction is more powerful than I believed it would be. Also does a good job transitioning from hard wood floor to rug/carpet. We are using it in 5-7 minute bursts so haven't had any battery issues. Happy so far!

Love my new weightless, cordless, powerful Dyson-V11 Animal. Completed our new build. Interior Decorator recommended this vacuum. Certainly, happy she did!!!! Like how self adjust from hardwood floors to area rugs. Great investment! Enjoy. I know I’m enjoying mine.

This vacuum is awesome. Switches modes great between hardwood and rugs, makes vacuuming effortless. Multiple attachments for different uses make it convenient. Ran an older Dyson on carpet and followed it up with this vacuum and was astonished by how much this version picked up still.

For a battery powered vacuum, it's pretty strong. All the attachments you need. Mounting it to the wall is great. However, there are a handful of things I don't like about it. It's a little heavy and you have to hold the trigger down to keep it on. It strains your hand after a short while. We seem to clog ours up much easier and quicker than any other hand vac we've used in the past... maybe that's just because this thing is constantly chasing around three kids and their messes. Our biggest gripe is that the power trigger gets stuck a lot and the vacuum won't turn off until we put it on the charger. And then when we take it off, it turns on right away. I messed around with tightening and loosening the screw on the handle to fix the trigger, but that has had mixed results. For such an expensive product, I would expect better quality control.

My son wanted this because of reviews and I was against it do to the price. Was I wrong. The light weight and cordless operation was phenomenal and not to mention how well it cleans. Attachment also work great and it has plenty of power.

Suction is sufficient for a cord-less vacuum (not sure it's as great as Dyson advertises). It's extremely easy to trash garbage when it's full (This is probably the best part of the product). It is still quite expensive, but it's better than accidentally buying useless cheaper products. You won't regret purchasing it. The battery lasts for a sufficiently long time to clean a one-bedroom apartment so far.

Let’s get this out of the way. Dyson product are expensive but darn it if they aren’t great. I upgraded to this model from a V6 and boy did they make some major improvements. First: the Bin is much easier to empty out versus the V6. Before you’d have to stick your hand and pull out clumps of pet/human hair. No more! It has a great sliding mechanism that does it all for you! Second, they moved the placement of the charging port. I would get tiny shocks from the V6 because the charging port was right under my hand. Now it’s far away. Lastly, a battery indicator and improved battery life. Now there’s an easy to read battery level and with several cleaning modes you can maximize your battery life for. The prior 15 minute runtime. Overall this thing is a winner, with incredible suction, battery performance and maintenance features.

my wife has wanted one of these to go along with her other dyson vacuum. this machine has done a great job so far. on the stairs and under furniture have been 2 areas that she is so happy to use this on. well worth the money as are other dyson products!

Was skeptical but after one use was totally sold. Easy to use. No cord to pull, unplug ang plug in again. Cut vacuuming time in half. Love the charging station and easy storage. The suction power needs to be seen to believe. A winner!

Works really well. Amazing how much pet fur this thing picks up. only drawback is that the tank is a little small so I have to empty it two or three times each time I vacuum. Also it is amazingly quiet as well. Absolutely worth buying.

This is my second cordless Dyson and this one has superior suction and ease of disposing debris. It is very light, long battery life, flexible in suction strength and plenty of valuable attachments! Highly recommend this vacuum.

Awesome cordless vac! This is the 3rd cordless Dyson my wife and I have owned and by far the best. Previous models were good but no replacement for a plug-in model. This cordless truly has the power and stamina to replace a regular upright vacuum. The dust canister is not as big as an uprights but it is bigger and easier to empty than earlier Dyson models. So far, we have never run out of power while vacuuming which was a problem on our previous models. The V11 is a really good deal when it is on sale but a bit pricy normally. Fortunately, you can find them on sale every few months.

We are big Dyson Vacuum fans. We own the larger upright animal corded vacuum & it will basically suck the spots off of a Leopard. But it is bulky & you need to deal with the cord etc. This cordless vacuum is very easy to use and therefore gets used every day because it is so convenient. So, which is better? The one that gets used. The cordless version excels at cleaning hard to reach areas, stairs, furniture etc. It does not have the power of the corded version & it needs to be emptied more frequently. We use the cordless version for quick clean ups but when we want a real deep clean, we use the upright corded version.

Works amazing, easy to use and easy to clean. Great on hardwoods and carpet for our two dogs who shed constantly. Very useful attachments for small spaces and the couch

This is an amazing vacuum. I have a very hairy dog that leaves tufts of hair everywhere -- and I mean everywhere. I had a previous version of this vacuum that I used as backup to my upright, but the VII Animal is far superior. Suction is great, at a much lower sound level that previous models. It's so easy to use that pulling it out on a daily basis to keep the house under control is not hard to do. Also, it's easy to empty, though I do struggle a bit getting the long tube detached. I empty the bin frequently since there's so much hair, and it's relatively easy. This is a pricey vacuum, but Dyson really has created a superior vacuum. It is very well thought-out and planned. Overall, it's well worth the price to me.
