BUT only had a few weeks and I’ve found the suction isn’t like it was when first purchased, maybe I got a dud one so may return. Just doesn’t seem to be picking up like it should!

Posted .Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you are noticing suction loss after just a few weeks of using your V11 Animal. Suction loss can occur if there is a blockage or clog some place within the machine. It can also be due to dirt getting trapped in the inlet of the cyclone, or also due to a filter that needs to be washed. Generally speaking, our cordless machine filters should be washed every 30 days. However, if you vacuum more often, or find that you're vacuuming up a large amount of dust or pet hair, you will want to wash that more frequently.
