Assembly: ---------------- One of the easiest vacuums to assemble. The parts are of high quality and are well designed with a clip-on to assemble and change accessories with ease. Display: ------------ This vacuum does NOT have an LCD display which will show the remaining time. This only has an LED display (like in the older models) which will indicate the remaining battery through 3 bars. Unlike latest Dyson vacuums, this does not show remaining time counter and maintenance alerts like filter cleaning. Ease of use: ------------------- Using a cordless vacuum has a lot of advantages. It’s extremely useful to reach few places that I was never able to reach with a corded vacuum, like under the bed, over the blinds, air conditioning/ heating vents and we don’t have to move around the tables, desks anymore. This vacuum has a trigger switch that needs to be pressed all the time. Its a bit annoying having to do that. This weight of the machine rests on the hand and after using for some time, hand feels sore. I had to switch between left and right hand throughout the usage. This transforms to a handheld vacuum for cleaning cars which is super useful. Suction: ------------------- Usually, cordless vacuum lacks a bit of suction, but Dyson V11’s suction is undoubtedly very good. However, I could not feel much difference compared to a corded vacuum. It cleans just about the same as the corded vacuum. This doesn't work well on a high pile rug. The motorhead roller doesn't roll on the rug and other accessories pulls the rug off the floor. Cleaning tiles and hardwood floor is extremely easy though. Dust accumulation: --------------------------- Dyson has shown their ingenuity in the design of motorhead with hair removal vanes. There wasn't a single hair tangled on the roller brush, they were clearly accumulated on the dust bin, and it was so easy cleaning. This is a bagless vacuum and emptying the dust bin is a very easy process. This can be washed as well if required. Filters: ---------- This comes with HEPA filters that arrests allergens and dust. This is also washable and requires cleaning every month or so based on the usage. Noise: --------- I am amazed by how low the overall noise levels are. I don’t mean its silent. But for a vacuum, the noise is on the lower side. Its definitely less noisy compared to a corded vacuum. Tools and Accessories: --------------------------------- Apart from the obvious – the vacuum, wand, charger this comes with following accessories – - Motorbar cleaner head – this comes with hair removal vanes which is very useful because they do not allow hair to twist or bind up and slow down or wreck the roller part. An ingenious and very practical design undoubtedly! - Hair screw tool – this can be used to vacuum pet beds which collects pet hair without any fuss. - Stubborn dirt brush - Mini soft dusting brush - to avoid scratches on the objects - Mattress tool - to clean upholstery and mattress - Combination tool – Brush and wide nozzle, to switch between needs - Crevice tool - for narrow edges - Up-top tool to reach up-top like top of the blinds - Extension hose - Wand clip Usage time ------------------- A full charge of battery lasts 40-45 minutes on “Medium” mode. This mode can be used for carpets. On Boost mode it lasts about 15 minutes which provides extra suction clean On Eco mode it lasts a little over an hour. Overall with medium mode it is possible to clean a two bedroom apartment on a single charge. Charging time ------------------- After a complete drain, it takes about 4 hours to charge the vacuum to 100%. Conclusion: ------------------- Overall, if one prefers a cordless vacuum, Dyson is a very good choice. However, there are few Dyson models with advanced display options than this one. They show the remaining time which is fairly accurate and also shows some maintenance alerts like when to clean the filters, if something is stuck on the motorhead etc. I would recommend to go for those models which cost about the same as this one. If you don't really care about those features and purely in terms of usability as a cordless vacuum, I would recommend this product.

Great Vacuum holds a change well. I supposed I should have gone thru the attachments included as no head is provided for use on wood floors. This led to an additional $100+ purchase of an additional head.

Great product. Cleans as expected. I am a little disappointed that the battery life is so short when used on high power. It cleans well on both deep and short carpeting on the normal setting.

Good power and suction. But battery dies pretty quick and it takes a while to charge. Overall a solid vaccum.

Great for a quick clean up of a spill or dirt tracked in! Was purchased as a Christmas present, my wife was constantly grabbing a broom and dust pan to clean up after me. So far she loves this unit and has not used the broom yet. I do not think it will replace or larger corded unit for total cleaning days because of the limited dirt capacity !!

If you have a carpet it’s not as great. It is also on the heavier side compared to other Dyson models. But it is still so convenient and has 3 settings. If you use the boost the batteries die pretty fast. Cleaning it is super easy and it comes with different parts that are super helpful for cleaning, especially if you have a pet!

Very good vaccum , reliable . Longer battery life.

Worked great when we first got it and now it barely wants to pick up anything and the closures wont click shut
