Bought this to quickly vaccuum our hardwood floors and little carpet messes. We still use our non-cordless dyson for the heavy cleaning. Works as advertised and is just as good as the new and improved (and twice as much) cordless Dysons.

I spent literally months researching different vacuums and different versions of this one. In fact, I spent so much time staring at them in a local orange-colored (or is blue?) store that I think they were afraid I was going to steal one. We have dogs who bring in lots of leaves and dirt from the outside. We wanted something to help us keep the house as clean as possible. We have new hardwood floors and tile. We don't have much carpet. This has been a very good addition to our home for the hardwood and tile floors. It seems to have no problems picking up small leaves and dirt and dog hair. It's easy to maneuver. It looks stylish hiding in the closet where we mounted it. It is a wee bit heavy though. This surprised me. Or maybe in my advanced age, I am getting weaker? It's also expensive. I hope it lasts a long, long time.

Compared to the vacuum cleaners we have used in the past, the Dyson is an absolute pleasure. With it's weight and lack of cord to deal with, we find ourselves using it more frequently.

We had bought other handheld / cordless vacuums in the past - all did not last more than a few months. This product is sturdy, reliable and effective. Very easy to empty and clean.

I purchased a Dyson similar to this model several years ago but it doesn't have the carpet/hardwood floor features. The features and reliability are excellent. I highly recommend it.

It's a Dyson, everyone knows they work. This is about the convenience of a cordless. Which is amazing and the hardwood floor attachment picks up stuff the carpet head would miss.

I only have a few carpets in my house and grabbing this dyson makes the job fast and easy without having to keep pulling the plug out. It also works great on my hardwood floors.

Great for a small place. Cordless takes some of the hassle of cleaning up. Have only used a few times, but seems to work well on a variety of surfaces. Even picks up cat hair.

Love everything about this vacuum minus the battery meter that doesn't show exactly how full it is. Perfect for a large apartment. Probably need to charge one extra time to cover a 1700 sq. ft home. Very happy with this purchase!

I am very happy with my Dyson. Just moved into a new house with all wood floors so we needed something like this. it does a wonderful job and all the attachments are excellent.

This was my first Dyson vacuum purchase. I have 3 Dyson fans. And there's a pattern: Dyson does not like to provide detailed instructions, mostly pictures with few words. With instructions in hand, it still took me several minutes to figure out how to empty it. It didn't empty completely. I had to use something to scrape the container to remove more of the debris. I'll probably return it to Best Buy. I wanted to try a cordless vacuum and as others have stated, the charge does not last long. I might buy Dyson from another retailer who has a more Customer Friendly return policy. Best Buy has a terrible policy. They only give you 2 weeks.

This vacuum performs perfectly; it has great suction and outstanding battery life. It is exactly what you would expect for a cordless vacuum with the Dyson brand name!

Love this especially for my birds! Only neggie is that the battery has a short run time. So, what I try to do is to plug it in for a few minutes here & there when I need to move something or changing rooms. Great job tho ...

Love all the attachments provided, this particular model was not found anywhere else. Glad we went to Best Buy! The only down side to it is the battery life is short, but that is life with out electricity. Love the product!

The design and inherent flexibility rivals this machine's own quiet power. Makes cleaning my dark hardwood floors throughout a breeze. Wish I had bought it sooner....

Game changer! I can do main floor (hardwood and tile) and still have juice left! Attachments great for lampshades and laptops. Worked great to clean car. LOVE IT!!!

Incredibly convenient, a ton of adapters, and it handles 95% of our needs. It's surprising how much more you will use a vacuum if you don't have to deal with cords.

Bought this vacuum for my wife for Christmas...I know, how romantic! I usually get attitude for buying a gift like this for her but not this time. She loves it!
