Battery life is AWFUL. It would be okay if you could buy replacement batteries and switch out. Barely covers one room. Way to expensive for this. also, I have lost the attachments because there is no place to store on the unit. I was totally sucked in by the Dyson name, but my next one will be a knock-off!

Posted .Hello Margaret, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you've found the battery life of your V7 disappointing. Your cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 30 minutes of run time (20 when using a motorized tool). We do carry replacement batteries for the V7 should the need arise, but don't recommend frequent removal, as that can strip the screws which hold the battery in place. I have an old Dyson that still works great but I have all Ruggable rugs that get sucked up into it. I got this Dyson and it works great! So lightweight. If you have a large house you’ll have to charge in between since it only runs for about 30 minutes.

The battery could be much better since it runs out pretty fast. But over all it gets the job done decently.

Even though we don’t have any pets, we have shedding hair issues and this Dyson does the job! I would definitely recommend this product!

Best Buy is the Best Place to Buy!

This is my second Dyson Cordless vacuum. Just wanted an extra one around the house. I purchase all of my appliances and electronics from Best Buy! Always good deals.

I scooped this up on a good deal and can say it's a really good vacuum cleaner. If you can find a Dyson in your budget, pull the trigger and get one.
