Just last week I squeezed the trigger and it did not power on, i started squeezing it multiple times really slow and it finally started working. The same malfunction happened again yesterday. Its a good product when it decides to turn on. This is my first Dyson product and probably my last. I am outside of the warranty with best buy and do not feel like dealing with the inconvenience of reaching out to the manufacturer. I barely took the time to write this review.

A friend bought a higher-end, found it difficult to detach head for emptying. But I buy a V7, had one before and damaged it, glad for new one. A terrific choice. Just be sure to empty over wide-mouth trash bag and clean the dust-accumulating innards once in a while.

Works great on tile, wood and low pile carpets. It does tend to jam on higher pile carpets so you would need another vacuum to use. The run time is fantastic, no issues.
