Love it! Just wish the trigger did not need to be manually held to operate.

For the price youre paying, youre better off getting a tineco s11 or newer

It is a low power equipment. Also the battery power go off quickly.

It's a great vacuum, but the battery life isn't very long before you have to recharge it. Then it takes a long time to get a full charge.

Not worth the price... the battery doesn't last. it makes a weird sound like if its going to turn off, so kind of losing power... not sure if i just got a bad one or all are the same...

I think Dyson has pretty much established themselves in the world of cordless vacuums. The V7 is still a great model and choice for those who want a top-of-the-line cordless vacuum. The Dyson V7 Advanced Origin will be replacing an older Dyson that I have been using for 10+ years. Dyson's build quality is always something I am happy with. My former lasted a long time and I have no reason to believe this one will not. It always does a good job with cleaning. Cleaning the vacuum itself is easy. In terms of usual Dyson criticisms, the trigger mechanism is always a point of controversy. With my first Dyson, I hated it at first. However, once you get used to it and realize you don't need a death grip to keep it activated, then you just don't mind it. That being said, it would be nice to keep it on constantly without having to keep toggling the trigger. Also, there are no removable batteries for the Dyson which can make vacuuming for a longer period of time frustrating. Other cordless vacuum brands sometimes have multiple packs which is very helpful. The Dyson V7 also seemingly takes a while to fully charge. I do not have the exact numbers but it did kind of blow the air out of the sails when you have to stop and plug it in for a while. There is also no wall mount compared to some of the recent models so you just kind of have to push it into a storage closet. All in all, I really think you can't go wrong with the Dyson V7 Advanced Origin.

Was not happy with this item. The battery kept dying. Returned it and got a Dyson that plugs in.

A great vacuum. This is a small, light vacuum that's surprisingly powerful. Can pick up litter and doesn't make a lot of noise. Won't replace a big vacuum for deep cleaning but good for day-to-day chores.

Excellent Cordless Vacuum! However accessories is the weak point. I have another cordless sick vacuum, which I use pretty religiously, as well, however that one has a place for most of it's accessories, and can hook upon itself and store upright without the need to buy additional mounts or stands. Which this is the case here. The vacuum itself is high tier and top notch quality wise for what you pay for, especially for this brand. But the part the engine once detached, is a sore thumb of sorts when putting it away. There is no wall mount included but I have heard that the wall mounts can tear off the wall pretty easily. Whereas, in my other cordless stick vacuum, I can hang the engine on it's actual stick and have physics do it's thing. I adore that! For this, you can stick it with my other brooms and I have to lay the engine down on the floor to charge. I mean you can leave the stick installed and prop it in a corner, but you risk damaging it, if it slips off the wall or whatever. This comes packaged really well, but like mentioned, the accessories seem more like an afterthought and also with no wall mount or anyway to neatly put it away takes away from otherwise a really nice vacuum. Out of the box, the vacuum was charged barely. However the suction did not let up and you could not tell that the battery was running out other than the LED on the side. I mean the suction is constant! Very impressive there.

This vacuum is excellent and works exactly as advertised. It is easy to use and my kids can now vacuum too because it is light enough for hem to handle it. I guess the only downside could be that it might not get into deep pile carpets as well a a corded vacuum would. Regardless of that, it is still the best vacuum I have had in over 20 years.

I have 2 kids and 3 dogs so main traffic areas get vacuumed daily. This Dyson is light, easy and perfect for daily use. The regular setting is great on tile floors and rugs . 'Max' for the thicker carpeted room and rugs. One charge can do the whole house. Smaller and lighter model so if you have a lot of carpet or require deep cleaning upgrade to next model up.

This is the first device from Dyson I've ever used, let alone owned, and the hype is real. Anywhere you go in the cleaning space, people talk about Dyson. The ads are everywhere. Surely something this hyped is overblown, right? Wrong. I've been blown away with this vacuum. From its ease of use to its surprising power, to its exception build quality, it's incredible. First, its ease of use - being cordless is a game-changer. I can walk from room to room in my apartment without stopping to reposition the cord and it honestly cuts my vacuuming time in half. The battery charge lasts a very long time (I've yet to run it fully out of charge), and the top unit disconnects so I can easily plug it in on my countertop to top it up between vacuuming. Its cleaning power is pretty surprising, given how small the motor is. I have a cat with a thick coat and lots of carpet. Each time I finish cleaning and go to empty the vacuum, it's managed to pull up way more fur than I even thought existed. I never noticed that much in my old traditional vacuum. The build quality is fantastic, too. Each connecting mechanism locks with confidence; nothing is loose or wiggly. But the most incredible thing about this vacuum? My cat isn't afraid of it! She has always feared the vacuum, but this one doesn't phase her at all. Maybe it's that it's quieter than a traditional vacuum, maybe that it's smaller, I'm not sure - all I know is she doesn't scurry to hide in the closet when this thing comes out. That's a minor miracle! Bottom line - this vacuum gets the job done, and gets it done well.

I love my new Dyson! I don’t have to sweep my place anymore. It’s so easy to assemble and use. My favorite vacuum ever, the best part it can turn into handheld device to vacuum sofa seats. The only thing is you have to charge it frequently but my place is small so one charge finishes the daily job.

We’ve had the cordless Dyson’s for a few years and this one works well and as expected. So far this one’s pieces connect and disconnect a little more smoothly and easily. I really like the non-velvety floor head, as dust won’t stick to the roller. It says the open sections are for hair not wrapping, but I did find that some of my mid-to-long hairs did get wrapped. Anticipating that any that get stuck will be easier to cutoff than the other smooth rollers we’ve had, though. This one has two settings and it did really well picking up just on the lower setting. A plus is that the lower setting is a wee bit quieter than the ones we’ve had before, so I like that. It sounds different than the predecessors due to the different floor head design, but still a wee bit quieter. This one does a better job with the head not flipping up when I pull back on it from reaching underneath furniture - the head seems to do better and staying on the floor when reversing. It definitely has a nice reach for getting flat to get under furniture. It came with charge, so we were able to start vacuuming right out of the box. I haven’t had to clean the filter yet since it’s new, the this filter pops out of the top. All in all, another great vacuum!

Light weight easy to move around home quickly. Cleans great. Long hair is sucked up in a unique canister. I love it
