Excellent thermostat, easy to install. Fast and seamless integration with Alexa enabled smart home devices.

Could be a life saver! Two furnace home and one of the sensors on the thermostat read dangerous levels of CO. Shut the one unit down and had to replace a heat exchange.

This is the third Ecobee I've had. Again Ecobee knocks it out of the park. The thermostat's leading feature is the ability to average the remote sensors (and even select which ones are in use for a given comfort setting). At night, we only use the sensors in the bedrooms, during the day, our main floor and basement (where the kids play). We continually find that the ecobee is the best thermostat we've had. We also use the security addon feature, not for security purposes but to detect if a door or window (that we care about) is left open which will suspend the use of AC or heat. We've had a bunch of construction done on our home, and this allows the workers to do their job and not worry about changing the Thermostat. There are some downsides to this thermostat. It tries to convince you to use the connected features for Alexa, or Siri, etc, this means it potentially is always listening. If you don't like home assistants, or worry about microphones on IOT devices, this may not be the item for you. Finally, I don't find the Air Quality sensors to be particularly accurate. They're fine for a basic feel, but another product that specializes in it, is a better fit.

The temperature reading on the unit itself reads high, so I had to disable the internal sensor and make sure it only uses the remote temperature sensor. It’s a little annoying that it isn’t accurate and I would have chosen a different one if I knew this.

This thermostat works great. It keeps my house comfortable more efficiently.

Very useful with lots of great features. Easy installation too

Installed this thermostat on my own without using a professional. Support was good for a couple of questions I had. The fact that this one comes with the additional wiring harness was VERY helpful. Plus with the amount of rebates you may be able to get the device was basically free after a couple of months.

Easy install, easy set up, makes heating and cooling your house more convenient.

Have not had an issue. Does everything I have ever wanted out of a thermostat and more.

I couldn’t imagine I could do this instal myself. I did have a friend watch over me so I didn’t blow anything up, but I made all decisions based on good instructions that came with the unit, and a video that I got from you tube. App works great, love all the features. Sensors work great!

Replaced a standard thermostat for a heat pump on the second floor of our house. Works great. It was easy to install. It had some problems calling for emergency heat during very cold weather. After a call to their helpline and some additional fine tuning it is working great. Their tech people are very helpful. I’m using it with two room sensors which allow a lot of flexibility.

Love the way you can manage from Wifi. Local power company charging $13 a kilowatt hour during 6am-9am.

Works great and glad it has customization to handle humidity and overcool.

Love the Ecobee thermostat! It looks wonderful and is easy to set up.

Bought one for my house, and my parents house. Great features especially useful when I'm on vacation, can control and ensure HVAC is working especially to avoid frozen pipes with these cold snaps recently. I use the little sensors you can put in rooms and makes the whole house more comfortable to get those far locations from the thermostat to get closer to the set temp.

The thermostat works excellent easy to set up and use.

This thermostat is amazing. Our electric bill has not only been lowered, but our house has been much more comfortable since making the switch. The sensors add an additional layer of analysis, showing the temps and air quality around the home. That was especially important when the Canadian wildfires were polluting our area.
