This thermostat is one the best in the market. I highly recommend it.

I replaced an ecobee bought in 2017. I actually bought the super deluxe one by mistake. It has the air quality monitor which so far has been amusingly wrong about the quality of the air. The windows were wide open and it said the air quality was terrible. I have read that it takes several months for it to dial itself in. Other than that it's as good as my original ecobee.

My previous time I had a hard choice between Google and Ecobee. This time I choose Ecobee because I already have some sensors and Premium version definitely worth money paid.

My Google nest was going out, and my HVAC technician suggested the ecobee. This thing has been nothing but a headache. The settings were way to complicated. I got this in the summer and after multiple attempts to get the settings correct, I wound up paying another $200 just to have my technician come out and set it up for me. Afterwards it functioned as it should and the house was finally cool again. Fast forward to winter, I don't use dual settings, now my thermostat is all wonky again. The thermostat will show it's 70 in the house but it's freezing. So, I thought ok, just adjust the minus and plus in the settings to get it to read properly. Nope! Still, it will show the inside temp is 70 but it's still freezing in the house. I will set the heat to 72 to get the heat to kick on and 10 - 15 minutes later it's getting toasty; I look at my thermostat, and it now reads 67. So, tell me how the reading goes from 70 to 67 with the heat running and the house pretty clearly being warmer. At this point I'm not sure I want to spend another $200 to have a technician come out to work on it. I'm going to try taping the little hole where the wires come out of the wall and see if it works. If not, this thing is getting donated and can become someone else's problem. Thanks ecobee for all the money I've wasted.

Easy to install. Had to call customer service. Helen was very patient, friendly, professional, and smart. Helped me realize my user error and didn't make me feel like the idiot I am. Major upgrade over my Honeywell T10 which I loved. ecobee all the way, baby (got 2).

Our house temperature has been so constant and with a lower light bill

The ecobee models with internal motion sensors are able to track when you walk into a room and when you leave and account for that when maintaining an ideal temperature for you. It’s a pretty handy feature for conserving energy: when motion isn’t detected for long periods of time, the thermostat can then reduce usage accordingly.

Like the new interface and features. Had a 4 that lasted 3 1/2 years Let’s hope this one is better

Great product that replaced an not smart thermostat. It provides all the details that I need with the temperature, mobile app, remote sensor, and easy to use interface. All the tools and instructions were simple to have the system up and running within 30 minutes

Not the easiest to use. Still cannot figure how turn off setting where it lets it down to 65 at night. Extra sensor is cool but doesn’t appear to let you control temperature with other sensor

I switched to these because my nest E wasn't performing how i wanted it to in my 2 zone system. Unfortunately I had to get 2 of then which was expensive. My house is running as expected now and the sensors help a lot to understand how to heat and cool our new home.

So far after installation and some set up. I have not tested the A/C side of yet but I love the idea in automatic setting.

Great product by look and functionalities. Ecobee have great after sale support.
