I had heard that this is the best thermostat on the market and it didn't dissapoint. Extremely easy to install. It does sometimes have a mind of it's own and changes the temperature, but I guess it's supposed to do that... Also, the air quality readout is a little off sometimes, but it works nonetheless

great thermostat overall switched to this one a a month ago and it works perfect really keeps my home cold and warm when needed

The Ecobee is a fantastic and easy to setup thermostat. I’ve had it for a month now and just got my electric bill. It’s down 15% so far. Looking forward to seeing how much energy savings i will have throughout the summer.

It’s so simple to set up (hardware and software). And man did this thing save me money. If you don’t have zone Controlled HVAC system I would highly recommend. The little censors can be placed anywhere. We have one in basement, living room, and 3rd floor (where we sleep). It’s much warmer so we have it set up so it’s using temp in 3rd floor while we are sleeping. During the day my office is in basement and it’s 5-8 degrees cooler, so we use basement temp for when I’m working from home. Con though. Eco system. It’s awesome but because of sensors it might detect something moving and think someone is home and override AWAY setting. But I find solution by turning off eco while schedule is set to HOME or AWAY.

after using a nest thermostat for years, my experience with the ecobee has been 10x better in the one month ive been using it than it ever was with the nest. has a bunch of cool little features, and it does its job as a thermostat. the air quality monitor is a huge plus, as well as the built in speaker and compatability with apple home.

Switched from Google nest to this Ecobee and it's such an improvement. Detailed reports. Easy to install.

One of my best purchases. Love the extra sensor as we like the bedroom cooler at night. In 9 months I'm certain that I've saved $300-$400 in electricity and propane costs over my old Honeywell programmable. Being able to change temp via smartphone from bed is also a nice feature.

Works excellent. Connects to my phone via an app. Also connects to my apple HomeKit. Thermostat connects to Spotify and plays music.

Love this and love that it connects seamlessly to my Apple HomeKit. Temp gauge and air sensor not the most accurate but still works wonderfully

Awesome product! Has changed the way we heat and cool our home. It works effortlessly and after it has some time to learn, you rarely have to touch the thermostat.

So far, I love it. This is my third smart thermostat. Had a Nest smart learning thermostat, was pretty good. Died after about four years. Bought a Honeywell, to replace it. Died in three months. Really? As of now, this is the best on the market. hope it lasts. Has cool features! Glad I finally got a good one, I hope.

It works OK. I'm not in love with this Ecobee, and the associated app, the way so many users seem to be. On the plus side it does offer good flexibility for scheduling and for comfort settings. Integration with homekit is pretty good, but not great. I like that it lets me lock out the heat strips according to the outside temp (I don't need the heat strips until about 10 degrees ambient). However, there are quite a few downsides. 1. The unit itself heats up, a lot. It does seem to have built in adjustment for its own heat generation but, it's not perfect. I find I had to do a manual adjustment of the temp to get it to stop overestimating the temperature at the thermostat 2. Small, but annoying, you can't adjust the temperature reading of the standalone sensor. 3. If there is any way to see HVAC analytics in the app I can't find it. I had to literally get a third party app just to be able to see the daily usage on my phone. 4. Home & Away are kinda nonsense because they only factor in if you have passed by a sensor recently. I guess this may work if all your rooms have sensors. Mine don't and if I spend too long in the spare bedroom the ecobee will set away. 5. The humidity sensor needed a 4 percentage point adjustment to be accurate. 6. I started to use the ecobee website to get analytics on my HVAC but it very annoyingly logs me out every time I leave it alone for a while so I can't just hit refresh the way almost every other website in the world allows.

I bought this to replace an 8 year old nest thermostat that died. I was a little more difficult to install because my current set up didn’t have power but the directions were very easy to follow. the user interface is very easy to operate and looks sleek. The air quality indicator is a nice addition and the extra room sensor adds to the efficiency.

Great thermostat. Getting the continuous power wire connected was a bit tricky but once up and running this has been by far the best thermostat I have ever owned.
