Had for a couple months now. Love the sensor feature being able to tell when to turn the AC on or off. We have hot and cold spots around the house and this regulates the temperature nicely. Can’t wait to see the energy bill and see if it’s helping bring the cost down. I love that I can also control it with my phone.

I like the thermostat itself, it works great and has a lot of different settings available. Including working very well with Alexa. However, the HomeKit part (the external room sensor) doesn't do anything really. It will tell you the temp in the room you put it in sure. However, it says that it will help manage air flow. Well unless you have a very high tech HVAC system with automated exchangers, I'm having a hard time figuring out how that's possible.

So easy to use. My whole family loves it. It also looks sharp.

Love this product! I replaced my Nest thermostat with it and have never looked back. It’s very easy to operate and the smart features work so well!

The Ecobee Smart Programmable Touch-Screen Thermostat works great, but the first one I picked out had vertical lines on the screen. Unable to exchange at 3 Best Buys close to the destination where it was gifted for my elderly mother, but did find it near my own house. After wasting a lot of gas and time making return trips the Technical Support was excellent at helping me connect the wires correctly between the thermostat and furnace.

Recommend professional install although there is ample online and “real person” support. Easily paired and works with HomePod. Amazing the options available to personalize/configure system to your home. Can even add another Ecobee customers home, and if in doubt can ask them to adjust your system. I was even able to play Siriux on the thermostat, even though there are better options to play on other devices. Easy to read display. Highly recommend.

I chose the Ecobee after being a long-term Nest customer and I am very pleased. The layout is much more intuitive and gives more flexibility and options to control my system

I had a Nest Learning Thermostat along with nest temperature sensors on multiple floors of my home. I grew frustrated with the lack of customization and the ability to aim for an average temperature between all the sensors. The ecobee thermostat solves all these issues! Fantastic product; I highly recommend.

The temperature reading on the unit itself reads high, so I had to disable the internal sensor and make sure it only uses the remote temperature sensor. It’s a little annoying that it isn’t accurate and I would have chosen a different one if I knew this.

Could be a life saver! Two furnace home and one of the sensors on the thermostat read dangerous levels of CO. Shut the one unit down and had to replace a heat exchange.

This is the third Ecobee I've had. Again Ecobee knocks it out of the park. The thermostat's leading feature is the ability to average the remote sensors (and even select which ones are in use for a given comfort setting). At night, we only use the sensors in the bedrooms, during the day, our main floor and basement (where the kids play). We continually find that the ecobee is the best thermostat we've had. We also use the security addon feature, not for security purposes but to detect if a door or window (that we care about) is left open which will suspend the use of AC or heat. We've had a bunch of construction done on our home, and this allows the workers to do their job and not worry about changing the Thermostat. There are some downsides to this thermostat. It tries to convince you to use the connected features for Alexa, or Siri, etc, this means it potentially is always listening. If you don't like home assistants, or worry about microphones on IOT devices, this may not be the item for you. Finally, I don't find the Air Quality sensors to be particularly accurate. They're fine for a basic feel, but another product that specializes in it, is a better fit.

This thermostat works great. It keeps my house comfortable more efficiently.

Picked up this smart thermostat during Black Friday sale- can not beat the quality/capabilities for the price. Works just like my previous nest-but better. Look forward to having product for many years to come.

I couldn’t imagine I could do this instal myself. I did have a friend watch over me so I didn’t blow anything up, but I made all decisions based on good instructions that came with the unit, and a video that I got from you tube. App works great, love all the features. Sensors work great!
