Ecobee Sensors make this system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As I said in my review of the thermostat, the sensors have helped lessen the temperature differences in our house over the last month or so. I really enjoy having the Ecobee system in our house.

Great buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought these because our room was getting warm at night while the rest of our house was cool and these sensors have seemed to help a lot with keeping our bedroom cool at night.

Pricey, but works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ecobee sensors extend the functionality and act as motion/temperature monitors. Integrates well with ecobee and HomeKit. These do seem very expensive though.

Great way to monitor your temp
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always can check in the temperature in my various rooms and adjust the thermostat accordingly. Doesn’t register the presence of my cat which is a good thing.

Very insightful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great way to see (and control) the temperature in specific rooms of the house... the only complaint is sometimes they'll "loose connectivity" and then rejoin. Highly recommend these!

Work great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend these to help balance out the temperature in your house. They aren’t perfect, but they reduce hot and cold spots. Help make the basement more enjoyable. I would start with two and see how they work in your home.

Tiny and work as expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These room sensors have a small profile. They easily bind with the Ecobee main module. They can be conveniently placed on included stand or can be stuck to wall.

Work great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sensors do a good job of motion detection and temperature settings. Wish they would also show humidity in each room but they work as advertised. Happy with the product.

An absolute must have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In our home, these sensors ensure the temp is controlled in the rooms we are using and not in the rooms were not. We have our sensors in our living room and bedrooms.

Very limited range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ecobee's tagline is "For houses with more than one room." Apparently it is also for houses with no doors. These sensors have a super limited range and don't perform well through doors. They drop connectivity often. When they are connected, they appear to work.

Dave
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great addition to my ecobee thermostat since I have a sunroom that the temp is always cooler or warmer than the location of the thermostat

Product just works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the addition of the ecobee sensors the ecobee smart thermostat gets a better picture of the the overall temperature of the house. The fact that the sensors detect motion and the ecobee thermostat prioritizes the temperature readings in those rooms is the way central heat and air conditioning should have been handled from the beginning. I use 4 sensors in my home and can track each one through the ecobee app even on the go. The sensors have been a positive addition to the ecobee smart thermostat and have allowed it to work to its full potential.

Great Sensors!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These little guys couldn’t be any easier to add to my ecobee system! Took about 20 seconds per sensor! Readings are right on the money!

Good complement to the thermostat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live in a two-story house where the thermostat is in an upstairs hallway. This means that at any time during the year, the upstairs is always warmer than the downstairs rooms - both summer and winter. I bought 4 of these sensors to put in the rooms that are used the most. Because of the smart home/away and the follow me features, having the sensors seemed to be a must. They have worked relatively well, but I have had some issues with them. Ecobee is designed to sense when there is no occupancy at home and will automatically go into the away comfort setting. However, all sensors within the home must sense no movement/occupancy for a total of two hours before going into the cost saving mode. To me, that length of time seems to be too long. The other issue I have is that if you create a custom comfort setting, then the away feature does not work. Only when the thermostat is in the preloaded home and away settings does the smart home/away feature work. I feel both of these situations should be customizable by the owner. You also have to be careful where the sensors are placed within the room. Obviously if they are near a heat source, the temperature reading will be incorrect. Also, if in line with direct sun, the sunlight can cause them to indicate a false occupancy reading.
