We added one in each bedroom upstairs because they seem to heat or cool quicker. Without them the kids rooms would get too hot or cold by the time the remaining upstairs reaches desired set point. Now the unit doesn’t have to run as often since it’s only looking at the average of the two rooms.

Great sensors purchased with the main Ecobee device

So that way I can do push ups in the cold in one room and then when I am playing Track and Field on my Nintendo, I can finally beat that rabbit while not sweating terribly! Thanks Ecobee!

But battery life could be better. Can also be a little too sensitive if placed near a window.

These are the second set of sensors I've bought for my Ecobee3. Couldn't be simpler to set up, just pull battery tab near the thermostat and it's detected. Now I have one for every room in the house and easy to monitor what rooms get hot or cold and adjust the vents accordingly.

Easy to link, work very well. Its nice being able to balance the temp in the house.

These are what make the Ecobee a better product than the Nest. Ability to customize temperature based on location in the home, and whether the room is occupied. The one downside is that they did not stick well to my walls. I almost lost one to the trash when it fell into a bin unbeknownst to me.

These sensors help to regulate the temperature in my daughters room. Worth the buy.

These remote sensors are a must have if you have an Ecobee thermostat. The occupancy sensors in addition to temperature readings are the best feature of owning an Ecobee t-stat. These are what makes the thermostat "smart". I recommend having one in each room of your home.

These are convenient to have in the most trafficked rooms in the home. They pair with the ecobee very easily and are small, inconspicuous and and can be wall or stand mounted. They are expensive, but luckily I got them free during a promotion. I would recommend if you can get a good discount.

These sensors are the reason I chose Ecobee over Nest. I know Nest now has sensors available, but Ecobee was first to the table with this convenience. Works well and keeps specific rooms comfortable where needed most. My next purchase is to incorporate Keen Home smart vents.

These are easy to add on sensors for the Ecobee thermostat. Very simple and foolproof to add. Great way to ensure that you are regulating all the specific rooms that you live in. This multi room sensor is not available in other thermostat products giving Ecobee a competitive advantage.

These are a great feature of the ecobee3 that you cant get from the nest. It gives me all kinds of information on what's going on throughout the house anytime I want it! Just open the app and all the data is there. Awesome......
