I really can’t tell that they do anything. Maybe I have them set wrong.

Paired with an ecobee3 these sensors help to keep an eye on the overall status of the home. You can plan around these sensors in different rooms for when the furnace/air kicks on as well as expand the smart network of if the thermostat knows you are home. That way, when I work from home in the office and don't walk past the thermostat, it doesn't go into away mode and keeps the temperature comfortable.

It sure is nice to know what rooms are causing my heat or AC to run and to know what temperature our rooms are at. If you have an Ecobee I recommend getting the room sensors...we may even get another pack to help us out with our heating and cooling costs.

The whole ecobee system is spectacular. I have slowly bought more of these sensors to get a better temperature gradient across our house. It's not quite zoning, but as close as you can get without the overhaul. Have an ecobee? Get more of these to make your system even better.

I bought extra sensors for my ecobee because we needed to add rooms to the thermostat. These work well and are sleek in design. My only negative is sometimes they lose connection with the thermostat. Not sure why but they do reconnect usually within 30 mins or if someone walks by. I still love this whole system though!

I love how this helps regulate the temperature in the house.

My primary reason for buying the Ecobee thermostat was the ability to pair it with these remote sensors. With a sprawled out Ranch home it makes it easy to keep track of the temperature throughout the house and adjust the rooms where I'm active.

Good sensors for expanding the usefulness of the Ecobee thermostat

The concept of the sensor were nice, but being that I have a small house I found I was using more energy trying to keep a particular room warm and it w as s making the rest of the house extremely hot. I returned them back.

Love the additional data that these sensors can provide, and the various options for mounting that they provide. They're pricey when not on sale, but still worth it if you're interested in making the most out of your Ecobee.

A must have addition to the ecobee 4! Our house is multiple stories with one thermostat. Placing these sensors throughout the house has enabled us to have a similar temperature throughout the house and save money on our power bill

Great for those 3 level houses. Just need to set up preferences, only down side is there is 3 setting to include sensors. Home, away or sleep, so if 3rd floor 75 and 1st floor at 65 no way to make it 70 at both floors. Need automatic open/closing vents.

Excellent addition to our Ecobee thermostat. Monitoring each room helps with the thermostat’s overall efficiency. Detects when room is occupied or not to keeps temps comfortable.

Really like having the extra sensors so our HVAC system runs when it needs to based on the whole house and not just three rooms. The thermostat came with two sensors that still work, we added two more.

Overall, if you own an Ecobee, these two additional sensors are a must and will help with temperature adjustments from the unit. I have a 2,600 sq. ft. house and they cover it all. Highly recommended!

Bought two more sensors for a total of three in the house. Great for when we are downstairs as the sensors pick up we are there and automatically turns the temp up for use downstairs. I'll enjoy very much come true winter temps.

It knows when you're home or away. It knows what room you're in. It knows what the temp is for localized heating and cooling. Much like Big Daddy Kane, it gets the job done! Did I just date my self?

Started with just the base Ecobee3 Unit but since i stay at a 2 floor house, i needed the extra sensors to properly monitor both areas of the house. So far the reading has been accurate (tested with a separate thermometer).

These sensors work as intended. It senses room temperature back to main thermostat. No more buying expensive thermostats to cover all rooms. It will cost you +$500 on nest to cover two rooms. I say Money well saved!

I bought these to go along with my Ecobee3 thermostat. I already had three sensors and decided to add two more. With all the different zones in the house covered, the AC works so much better keeping the house a uniform temp.
