The ecobee sensor 2 pack for extra rooms is well worth it if you have a house that cools/heats unevenly. They allow you to set it to motion so the room is cooled or heated based upon occupancy.

My second story is almost always about 10 degrees warmer than the main floor in the winter. I bought these sensors with the intent of having 'smarthings' system turn on a fan to even out this differential. I've not been able to figure out how. Basically, these are useless.

The ecobee add-on sensors are a must have. They are super simple to both connect and use. These have allowed me to make my heating and cooling system so much better and more efficient.

The ecboee3 thermostat is great for homes that unevenly cool or heat. The sensors are easy to pair and work well. Definitely pick up the 2-pack. The one sensor included with the thermostat isn't enough!

I got a set of the lil bee sensors and it helped a great deal in balancing out the temp of my house. My second floor was always hot, but now it is very comfortable. I love them

I bought 2 one for upstairs and one for down, I use one remote sensor on each for the worst temperature affected room for each. So far so good for normal controls. The cool thing is setting the fan to run so many minutes an hour regardless to the heat or cool unit running.

Works like it supposed to, it reads the temperature in the room you place it in. You can set your thermostat to cater to any specific sensor in the room it is in..however unless you have smart vents in your house these won’t work to their full capability.

I have 4 of these stationed throughout the house. I love that they track my movement and only heat/cool the house when the rooms I'm in are occupied. Well worth the $$!

These are very good and compliment the thermostat to manage the temperature in multiple locations rather than at the thermostat only. One issue is that occupancy is based on motion only. At night, when someone is sleeping, it thinks it is empty room.

These sensors are very good solution to adjust temperature based on your preferred location at each time. Setup is automatic and effortless. However, you may get problem for using them in large homes, as sensors can’t get too far from the thermostat

The ecobees are great to use with Echos. Very helpful for spring and fall when we have to switch between heating and cooling each day. Love th rd ability to set the temperature from a distance so that the house is comfrotable when you get home from a trip.

After I installed the main unit I purchased additional sensors for the 2 other bedroom. I love the ability to sense when we are away and home. I would purchase again if I have a bigger house.

Great product, very easy to pair with Ecobee. Provides great peripheral monitoring of home temperatures and allows system to appropriately adjust the whole home temperature.

The refresh rate on these units are slow. Our intention was to control the temperature in our child's room by using the units rather than the main thermostat, but it doesn't work well....

It's great for maintaining a nice temperature throughout the house but they're not that cheap. If you need these now, then go ahead and buy. Otherwise, I'd wait until the smart light switches with built-in occupancy and temperature sensors are released instead.

Having additional sensors makes a world of difference in being able to control the conditions in the house. Highly recommend adding a set to the one that comes with the Ecobee thermostat.

It's great to know the temp in different places of the home. It's a must, especially if your thermostat is in a location/ level that your not frequently using.

Found the sensors to be much needed for accuracy in comfort settings across different rooms. The tech needs to be miniaturized a lot more for it to not stick out of the decor. Not great for a kid’s room with toys or any room with a bunch of junk that gets hauled around, unless glued to a specific spot, since it can be hard to find otherwise. Bought this from Bestbuy and had to replace the battery within a month of the purchase. Not a big deal, but not happy with the inconvenience of having to buy and replace the battery as quickly.

We have 3 of these in our home. Does a great job profiling your heat loss/gain zones. Would even be great for energy rating verifications.
