    I rated 3 stars because I'm not really a fan of the ecobee thermostat and it'd be nice to have more control over the sensors like the nest thermostat. You can pick which room you want at a certain temperature with the nest, and these ones just average the temperature across the whole house, so no one area really gets to the temperature I set at the thermostat. So overall, meh.

    Love being able to add additional sensors to the ecobee thermostat! I deducted 1 star for price - 80 bucks is a little steep. Deducted another star due to known error in some models. Some have been assembled incorrectly and need to fixed to work properly. The fix is self performed and super easy (instructions provided by ecobee), but for the price, I shouldn't need to fix the sensors after purchase.

    These sensors are ultimately the reason why I chose Ecobee over nest. The issues I have is with the sensors loosing connection with the unit. Yes the sensors are not far away either. It would also be nice to see those temps on your home screen within the app or on the unit, Obviously you care about those temps more then where the unit is. you need more customizable options!
