The motion sensor is a plus, Nest does not offer motion sensors with their temperature sensors. You can use motion to trigger other Apple Homekit automation.

You can set which temperature sensors(s) in which locations are active by time of day to control temperature.

Great for larger houses

These sensors help keep rooms upstairs cool in the hot summers. A must have. Easy to install and connect to the ecobee thermostat.

Not only will these sensors help regulate temperature in desired rooms, they will detect occupancy to help with efficiency.

Relatively inexpensive expansion

We had ecobee in our old house and had the older sensors. These are slightly nicer looking and the magnetic stands are much nicer than the old plastic one. I also like the option to mount them on the wall.
