They work i guess

Also i liked the mounting options on the original. For the price i would of expected humidity to be included in the sensors as well. They are the only choice for ecobee, but I expect for fore this price point.

The redesigned sensors are a welcomed aesthetic improvement while also adding better mounting options and signal strength (I replaced one sensor that occasionally dropped signal even with a mesh system covering 6000 sq ft of one of my homes). My only complaint is the lack of humidity sensors, otherwise these are a solid update.

It controls the temp in any room the sensor is placed. My cold rooms are no longer cold and my hot rooms are no longer hot! I love those little suckers! They really work!!!

You can tell your thermostat to average all responses from your sensors, or you can tell it to prioritize the temp in different rooms at different times (e.g., bedrooms at night). These sensors, having motion detectors as well, can also be integrated with Ecobee security (an extra subscription cost). They install super easily, either on little stands or stuck to walls, and pair automatically with the Ecobee smart thermostat.

However they lack adequate instructions requiring multiple calls/chats to answer questions and resolve. The sensors came with wall mounts. I put up the wall mount the sensor just falls off. I have three wall mounts and all had the same issue. Frustrating.
