The only reason I did not give them 5 stars, is because cat knocked one off the shelf on to a wood floor, and it stopped working. For a device that is intended to be sitting on a shelf... one would think it would survive a four foot fall on to the floor. stupid cat.

However, had a bad experience at the Bluffton, SC Best Buy store. They get a less than satisfactory rating in my book.

These sensors are an invaluable tool. Placing these in rooms away from your thermostat help get a better temperature reading of your house. If you have spots that get too hot, or too cold, this will help balance your homes temperature.

Pro tip: if you have multiple sensors, turn off all but your bedrooms tgat you’re using at night to get a more true to life temperature where it matters at night.

The thermostat helps a little but it can't really control how much AC/heat goes to individual rooms - but using these and knowing the temperatures at different times of day - I can open/close vents to direct more/less air to individual rooms.
