The Deebot N8 prow + with the avoidance controls would be a better unit. The forward lazer detection helps with avoiding things on the floor.

One unit performs a remap every few weeks. Major headaches involved with remapping. The other bot has after only approximately 10 hours of light usage spaced out over 3 months has appears to now have vacuum issues. Little to very little pickup from the floor. Unit now being sent to factory for repairs. For the money spent I really hoped to have a decent product. You can read the 1 star reviews and see for yourself the issues the N+8 bot has. Based on my experience with 2 bots of the same model I will not buy any more products from ECOVAC. Best Buy should really push the extended warranty on this model N+8 because based on my personal experience with two of these bots you will need all the help you can get.
