Disgusting customer - Ecovacs India
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased Deetbot U2 PRO from the Ecovacs website. When we purchased it we were given the virtual demo (before purchase) they did not tell us that this model DOES NOT work on black/dark floors. After purchase, upon raising a complaint, the technical guy told us "How are we supposed to know your floor is black". And told us to tape the antidrop sensors. No one in the ecovacs team knows how to talk to their customers. The customer care representatives were shouting at us. Us, who were already so frustrated that we have to tape our product on the first day of purchase. I have never dealt with such horrible customer care where the customer care representatives have no decency or manners to talk to their customers. Very horrible experience. Extremely disappointed. Would NEVER recommend ecovacs to anyone.

Not worth the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s an okay vacuum and mop. I don’t really like it but I missed the return window so I am stuck with it. It doesn’t avoid things on floors, likes to pull wires out of sockets and jam itself up with whatever it caught. Vacuum is also loud and not quiet. I had to take out my rubber in the hallway in order to have this mop function work in my house

OK for awhile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When it works she's fine but more often than not she doesn't. We bought "Berta" on Black Friday and for the first month seemed fine. Even with multiple maps turned off she began drawing another map at a 45 degree angle onto the saved map almost every week. Once that happens she has no clue where her charger is. She has to be picked up, taken back to her charger. The current map has to be deleted and the entire house mapped again. It's a 3500 sf home so it takes an entire day of your life to remap it all. Now in the last few days, she can find her charger but she cannot get on it. She'll crawl up on it and then just fall off the other side. She'll continue until she runs out of power. After 6 months of use I'm retiring her and getting an iRobot. Cannot deal with the frustration anymore.

Will not work with mopping upgrade!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am giving this two stars as I could find nowhere anything stating that this unit does not come with the connector for the upgraded mopping attachment. I ordered one to find out that it will not work in this vacuum. Luckily I was able to return the unit and get my $100.00 back.

DO NOT BUY ECOVAC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy Ecovacs, they will not stand behind their product. Bought an Ecovac in May of 2020. It broke (the wheels stopped moving) in December of 2020. I got a replacement in February 2021 and that one broke in September 2021. They refuse to replace the replacement Ecovac Deebot. Shouldn't a replacement reset the warranty period? I think if your product is so bad that it breaks in 7 months, you should warranty the replacement for another year.

Expensive garbage!!

It now is a unfunctional piece of art that sits in the corner of the room. I don't have thick carpets but every time I turn on the vacuum it gets stuck right away on the carpet. I've tried talking to customer service which they were less than helpful. They basically said they can't help me they don't know what's wrong. I haven't been able to use it not one time. Worst purchased ever.

Waste of money

Am now stuck with a useless piece of junk in my house....Lucky I have my older cheaper vac from a different company running like a champ. I only purchased this one because of Its self emptying abilities.....Please dont be fooled dont buy this vac.
