Overall this vacuum is a solid choice and operates well (even the mopping feature). The app is easy to use and works pretty well so I'm not sure why others were having such big issues. HOWEVER, if you're considering getting this model for the auto empty bin and you have pets DO NOT GET IT. I have 2 Australian Shepards and I purchased this cause the auto empty feature was appealing for a lazy person like myself but there is a major design flaw in the dust bin as it has 2 mini flaps and almost instantly gets clogged with pet hair every time. I waited past my return period so now I'm SOL but if you have pets and are reading this do not purchase this model!

Amazing Vacuum we have others and this is by far one of the best. Quiet, doesn't bump into furniture, always returns to base. Have not used the mop feature yet.

I have dogs and this vacuum saves me time and keeps my house clean. It does a good job of mapping out the house and can also select individual zones to clean.

This is great. Still going strong after 2 years as well. Wet mop is the functionality which needs improvements. Overall good product for cleaning and auto empty.

A family member had this device and highly recommended it, but this deebot did not work for us. The app was glitchy, it did not consistently retain the mapping information, the specific vacuum level settings, or the pre-programmed start times. The highest vacuum setting did not clean the rugs nearly as well as an ordinary vacuum. The base station is a great idea, but its vacuum shut off with an unexplained error message every time the deebot docked, so we had to empty the easily clogged dust receptacle in the trash. We may have gotten a bad deebot, but at this price point, it was too much trouble trying to figure it out, so we returned it.

Love my new robot, haven’t stopped playing I with it and even named it.. very quiet both vacuuming and when emptying, so far very happy

Decided to get this instead of a roomba cause of the better price and functionality. This thing is amazing, learned the house fast and can go over the floor transitions just fine.

Auto empty can't handle very much fur and so the robot gets plugged up and has to be manually emptied. The mopping was a disappointment too. I'm going back to my old Neeto D3 since this offers no improvement for my use.

Well rounded bot for the money,the multimap took me alil to get right but it eventually worked. the vacuuming this thing does is excellent...

This little vacum covers all of the areas needed I have had to save it from cords and from under the couch a few times but overall it gets the job done!

Love my Deebot. It actually cleans really good and in order. The mopping part is quite good too and even better with the Ozmo Pro.

I've had neato botvacs at my business for years and run them often. When the last one wore out took a chance on the ecovacs brand. So far I am very impressed with this model.

Bought this after new flooring install, both hard surface and carpet. It is everything we could ask for, and we haven't even used the mop feature yet! Highly recommended!

I've liked having this vacuum. I had the S5 Max for a few days and it was quite a bit louder so I returned it and bought the T8+. The T8+ is such a nice product to have and use. It works well, object avoidance works well too. For the initial map, I'd say turn object avoidance off so it can be less careful and explore your house better. The only downside to this vacuum is having to buy bags for the base which are expensive and only available from ecovacs, i'm waiting on cheaper ones to arrive from China (takes a month to arrive), and the mopping does not work well, it does not get the pad very wet, although it may just take a while.

My first unit had issues getting back to the dock. After quite a bit of back and forth with support finally got the whole thing replaced. Now it works good except it doesn't usually empty very much in the bin.

My Deebot is the best !! Love the fact that i can set a time for her to clean. She really gets in all the spaces that are hard to get to especially under the sofas!!

Great value! Mopping feature isn’t the same as some of the $1200+ alternatives, but it’s incredibly helpful for our dark hardwood.

Very very disappointed with this vacuum robot. The map management is horrible. I have to rebuild the map constantly. We bought it because it can mop and vacuum. The vacuum is great, the mopping is horrible. In addition, the water flow is random, whatever the mode you specify on the app and f there is too much water in the water container, the robot becomes unbalanced and cannot dock to the charging station... I contacted the customer support and according to them, this design flaw is completely normal... Which is a joke. I regret we spent that much for this robot and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Great little bot, mops and vacuums pretty well. Got to manually clean it about once a week due to pet hair but gets it all up pretty nicely.

I prefer the Ecovac machines over competitors. At their price point for devices above the “basic” Just the mapping feature alone sets them apart and above the others
