Does not empty bin
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this for over a year and maybe it has emptied the bin three or four times. I have to constantly take out the bin to empty the dust myself. This is quite disappointing considering the "suction vacuum" to empty the bin is SOOO loud that you think it would be emptying it. So, it makes you wonder why did I pay so much more for a self emptying option when it does not even work and I have to empty this vaccum everytime it runs. I cannot setup a schedule because if it does not empty the bin, then it's pointless. As for what was good about this until compared to other brands when I read reviews is that it does go back to the dock and it does not have to re-map. The suction seems good since, well, the bin gets full and does not empty itself. The concept of a robot vacuum is what I need since it takes about an hour to vacuum my condo unit where I can make it run when I go out to workout. Keeps my place clean to have an occasional vacuuming when I more often than not am too lazy to use my larger vacuum.

Pretty darn smart robovac
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many different robovacs and this one takes the cake. Has all the features you need. Room mapping, auto dust emptying, wet mop. Great suction power and pretty quiet compare to other brands. Quite satisfied with this Robovac.

Dont expect much from mopping function
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This particular setup sold by BBY pretty much covers every new feature you can think of, other than the Ozmo Pro mopping system which is $100 MSRP. Do not expect much from mopping function as the weight of the robot itself is not heavy enough to provide force to scrub off any significant stain on the hard floor, not even expect much from the $100 pro module. Also, I cannot find a function in the app avoid a zone from cleaning. Other than that, its a budget-friendly and capable robot.

Great performance, Amazing Value bundle
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, buy this. The performance is great, and has been very well liked by robovac owners. DEsign - Robo vacs are pretty simple. Round or D shaped, with sensors around the sides and a brush on the bottom. What I like about this is the dust bin removal is easily accessable from the top, with a small notch for your tangle tool. The hump on the top for Lidar isnt too bad. Performance - This is one smart robot. With sensors to tell to go into max suction on carpet and regular on hardwood, or even detecting wires so it will stop the side brushes. This machine delivers in all categories. With the included mop attachment, it will drag around a wet pad to pick up any spills or clean up any dirt. Also the self empty / charge station is a great addition. And has no problem clearing itself after each cleaning session. Value- This bundle comes with the auto empty bin, which normally retails separately for 250. You can also get a different bundle that comes with the ozmo mop attachments (oscillated back and work to mimic scrubbing) but I think the self empty feature is more valuable for the average consumer.

Pretty good little guy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The T8 is the one with the bigger battery compared with the N8 pro, so you can vacuum longer and makes a difference, you can run the machine on high and always you get battery. Also this one has like the N8 pro the laser avoidance so, it is pretty smart.

Does a good Job
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was able to snag this for less than 150$ during a deal. I would say its a steal at that price. Does what it is expected to do. Mop action is not too great, but does a decent job when needed. The app is easy to use and maps can be saved. This one also supports multi-level mapping. The only down side is the dust bags which need to be ordered when they are full.

AI Cleaners Are Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit is pretty good. The AI part does not clean better then my old rug robot. It does avoid bumping into things. The best part, it gets its ben sucked out into a bag by its docking unit. However, it was sad that an old man like me had to drag the heavy unit to the front because NO employee wanted to help even though they were just standing around.

DEEBOT T8 OZMI review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vacuums well. I use maximum vacuum setting. The ecovacs support is ok and they respond in a couple of days via email. They are helpful and I sense a language barrier but the instructions are ok to follow. The mopping mode is fair but mine doesn’t consume much water even on maximum setting across 1600 square feet. As such I have the return label sent my way to ship to California for them to fix it. Currently it functions as a damp cloth dragging along and not wet enough to make much of an impact. Once I receive it back from the repair depot I will know if this is it’s maximum capability or not. The robot doesn’t get stuck much and I run it remotely often to be done before I get home. I get 2 hours of operation per use and it covers 1400 square feet. Then it recharges for an hour and resumed the last 200 square feet. Took 5 hours to draw the map over two sessions. So do it during daylight as it will awaken to run again to complete he map even if you are in bed. In mopping mode it stays on flat surfaces and will not cross carpet to get to your tile bathroom so be aware. It sees the carpet as an obstruction when in mopping mode. The app crashes if you stay in the app stalking your DEEBOT and the phone gets warm. But that’s ok. You reload it and can see what’s been cleaned to the minute. It’s my first robot and am happy to keep it.

Best purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased Deebot t8+ after lot of research and it was worth it. The robot is built well and with its LiDAR tech, it mapped my floor in the single run. It avoids all the obstacle and has an option tk specify No Go zone which I can set once for it to remember or change it for every single run. I can of course add as many No Go zones as I like. The trudetect tech is awesome and it never bumps against anything and is able to go around any human/pet/object. Mopping function is a good add on. Mind well, it is not going to scrub or anything but it is good for usual maintainence. It can get mild stains and dirt out of my ceramic tiles, no issues. I just love the auto empty functionality and the dustbin holds dirt for more than 1 month for our family of 3 (no pets). We can also choose to turn off auto emptying and do it manually with phone app which is much needed function with sleeping baby. All in all, I really love this product and boy oh boy got really awesome deal on this one during Thanksgiving in best buy which makes it really superb deal.

Doesnt Empty to Bin
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I was doing something wrong, so I waited too long to return this. I finally figured out that the clumps of debris left all over my house was because the dust bin was never emptying. If I empty it by hand, I get better results, but I paid a lot more for the auto empty.

Deebot Ozmo T8 + vs. Roborock S5 max
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the Deebot Ozmo T8+ as well as the Roborock S5 Max. The S5 Max does a hands-down better job in mapping the house and going over small barriers. Also like the ease of Use for the S5 Max. With that said, T8 did perform for the rooms it could find. Also the Auto-Empty Station is okay. Really couldn't pull all the hair into the dustbin. In short I returned the T8+.

My month experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s just what I needed around here. Little to no maintenance other than routine checkups on the brushes underneath so it does a good job every time. Overcomes and avoided threatening obstacles, well build, and not annoyingly loud. Strong enough to suck up coins or hair ties, stuff like that but almost every run time, it seems to find more things to sweep up. The trash bin thing it comes with works great too. I watched it personally and it sucks out all the stuff the bot collected along it’s journey. Wouldn’t hurt to check to make sure some hair and dust doesn’t get stuck to the side of the bots storage bin. The only thing negative id have to say about it is the programming aspect . Idk if it’s this old house or what but it has trouble remembering the map it scanned of the house so telling it to clean a specific room doesn’t always work out. I named mine Franklin so you could say he has a mind of his own haha.

Perfect product for Vaccum war
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vaccum really excellent. I owned both irobo e5 and samsung, both are did their job but T8+ very accurate in cleaning all the corners and mostly i liked the way it was doing with mapping the house first then going in sequence order. I really not tested mopping but I can give 5 star for vaccum.

Better than the AIVI model
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this one mixed up with the N8, in the T8 AIVI, REVEIEW, really dont know the difference between the N and the T, but I actually found it to avoid things and not get stuck, much better than the AIVI, i had high hopes, it would be a bit better... but found the T8, to avoid more things and miss more wires and cords, than the AIVI.

Love it even with an issue
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this handy vacuum but I have not used the mopping feature as yet. The only issue so far is the auto empty does not work as the two hole feature was a poor design for people with pet hair and shedding carpet. However, I found a workaround from watching a few YouTube videos. But shouldn’t have tape a product I spent my money on. Hoping they address this issue in future models.

What you need to know before you buy it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was considering the different price robots iRobot S7, the new roborock S7 and the T8. Watched all the YouTube reviews and got my T8 on sale for $500 with the auto empty bin. - vacuum: vacuum works fine! It gets the job done. It can miss some spots but that I believe is due to the mapping system (more about it next - mop: mop is a joke. If you like me wants a robot that mop well, this is not the one - object avoidance tech: the reason (plus price) I went with the T8 and it really works - Auto empty station: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats so in my case only works if I vacuum everyday. Otherwise it clogs. - Software: need SERIOUS improvements. Also, adds for new models pops every time you open the app, it’s really annoying. Overall for the price I paid I’m fine with the T8 for now. I will definitely look for something with better moping in the future.
