Completely recommended, I have not words is a beautiful machine and clean very good.

This particular model with the Airfreshener is great! It runs well. Wish Ecovacs could do the same with the X1 Omni.

Average for the price tag. The mopping feature does not mop well. Decent but the price is far to high for the quality.

The Ecovacs Deebot T9+ is a powerful bot vacuum/mop, but it does have some flaws. When unboxing the unit, it can be very intimidating given how many components are inside the box. Luckily, the detailed instructions are easy to follow making the setup process a sinch. The Deebot does come with 2 vacuum bags for the auto empty tank, a scented air freshener for the botvac, and 5 mop pads. The base station otherwise known as the auto empty station, is where the botvac rests, charges, and auto empties the botvac. Before you can begin cleaning, you must let the Deebot map out your floor and to do that you need the Ecovacs Home app. On my first attempt, my Deebot got stuck between a chair and the wall and no matter how many times I moved it, it would keep trying to go to over that same spot. Luckily, there’s an option to mark off areas in your home that you don’t want the Deebot to go over, but I had to restart the mapping process for it to take effect. The one thing that the Deebot fails to do is detect decorative rugs (in vacuum mode) …My Deebot spent 20 mins going over the rug in the same spot. Other than the rug and a few bookshelves, it did manage to give me a detailed floor plan that was pretty spot on. A nice feature about the app, is that it lets you switch to a 3D model which gives a nice 3D aspect to your home’s floorplan. I was really impressed how it was able to detect tables, chairs and couches. The app also lets you add furniture and place it in specific locations of your house, but once again, there is no option to add a rug. The T9+ has both a vacuum and a mop. To use the Mop, you have to insert the water compartment with the microfiber cloth attached to the bottom. The mop works a little different from the vacuum as it can’t go over carpet, which it can auto detect. The Deebot does a fantastic job at auto detecting carpets when mopping. It has 2 levels of cleaning quick scrubbing and deep scrubbing. I tried the quick scrubbing, and it did a decent job of cleaning the entire floor on a single cloth. There are a few things that I would like to see improved, such as the ability to detect decorating floor rugs in vacuum mode. I also found that the Deebot tends to go over the same spot multiple times almost like a glitch. lastly, I would like the Deebot to empty the trash more often while cleaning, instead of waiting until the entire floor is finished. This causes the trash compartment to build up and get clogged because it becomes so compacted which resulted in me having to take it apart and clean it all out by hand. Overall, I do like the Deebot T9+. I think it’s a solid robot vacuum/mop. The amount of features the T9+ has is incredible, the app is easy to use and understand, plus the 3D map makes it way more comprehendible. Mostly, the Deebot is easy to operate and makes cleaning and mopping easy to accomplish. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new botvac/mop.

No one in the family likes to vacuum so we got robot vacuum for years now. We love our old robot vacuum, it works pretty well though its technology is now very much outdated. As it ages, the robot can do its job less effectively. When we got the Deebot T9+, we’re really excited because the robot is packed with features that we would want in a robot vacuum: good suction power (3000 pa), mopping feature, obstacle avoidance, app connectivity and customization. Even more, the T9+ can create a 3D mapping of the house, though it still needs some refinement from the user. A robot with obstacle avoidance sensors and 3D mapping features used to cost thousands of dollars so it’s nice to see that those kinds of technology become more affordable these days. Our old robot needs regular cleaning by emptying the dust bag every couple of cleaning jobs and the T9+ is smart enough to transfer the content of its dust bag to the dock and it requires less maintenance routines. Of course this robot can return to the charging and cleaning dock automatically after completing the cleaning task. Setup and Operation: There’s a quick setup guide so you can get the robot to do its job fairly quickly. In addition, there’s a video guide on Youtube, which makes the setup process a breeze. For people who don’t like to read manual to learn the basic operation of the robot, the app itself is quite intuitive and most of the time self-explanatory. Operating the robot requires you to control it from the app. You can set the robot to start cleaning at the push of the button or pre-program it to clean at any given set of time. You can also program the robot to clean certain room in the house. First time operation requires the robot to explore the house so it will take more time to complete. It’s important to note that the robot will work more effectively and efficiently when there are less obstacles in the room, meaning it’s best to ensure that there are no random objects laying on the floor or cable obstructing its cleaning path. The robot is smart enough to avoid some cables but not all of them. The robot is also smart enough to distinguish between hard floors and carpets. Not only the robot can vacuum, it can also mop and disperse air freshener while doing its job. I don’t really like the fact that the mopping pad needs to be replaced after each use. It would be eco-friendlier and more cost-effective if the mopping pad is washable and reusable. Using the robot to mop the house would require you to define the work area more precisely in the app as you need to ensure that there’s no carpet in the work area. Also, the app allows you to adjust a number of parameters including vacuum power and water level when the robot is doing its automatic cleaning in specific area of the house. Once on the roll, the robot can work for hours. Bottom line: This is a very useful robot that can do both vacuuming and mopping and should save you from mundane routines of having to do both yourself. The automation the robot offers is advanced enough to offer effective and efficient cleaning. However, you need to customize the settings in the app in order to give the best results and spend time to learn how the robot interacts in every part of the house. Of course, the robot will work more effectively when there are less objects laying on the floor obstructing its cleaning path.

Best product I’ve used had some kinks but solid and easy

Its a great vacuum but mediocre mop. It barely removes small spills or stains from mud.

I’m just blown away by this vacuum/mop combo. There are 2 young children in my household, and I am so impressed with just how clean this robot keeps and cleans my floors. My house has laminate wood floors and some tiles. I also have an area rug where my children play. This unit does it all! It is very important to me to have a clean floor because there is a newborn. I run it a few times a week and it keeps my living space super clean. I run it at night and by morning the unit is back on the dock charging and my floors are pristine. It performs very well with obstacles. The children leave a lot of toys around and this unit has never gotten stuck on any of them. I’m very impressed with this fact because my other vacuums have not been able to do this. This unit is very space saving in my house as well. It replaced 2 separate robot-units for me. Since getting this unit, I have given away my two other robot cleaners. This results in a much lower profile in my laundry room where I store this. I also love that I can use one unit to manage my cleaning instead of 2 units. It’s much easier to manage the cleaning of my floors. It is very quiet, and I can run it when the children sleep without worries of waking them up. The upkeep is also super easy. It is easy to maintain and clean. Overall, I love this unit and I highly recommend it.

Ugh. Get caught on everything. Doesn’t do a great job. Not worth the money.
