We have tried extenders with little luck, but these work great. Whole house now has signal.

Better experience with the mesh than single router

The mesh works very well for my 2750ft2, 2-story house. It eliminated the weak WiFi signal spots existed with my older, one router setup. I have 100 mbps Internet service (decreased from 250 mbps for lower cost) but better overall experience throughout the house.

    Easy Set-up & It Works!

I purchased the Eero 6 because I had one room on the 1st floor farthest from my router and one bedroom on 2nd floor that wi-fi was spotty and always losing the signal or couldnt connect at all. I couldn't even get my laptop to connect to the wi-fi in 1st floor room. I am not good at IT tech stuff and was worried I would not be able to set-up the Eero Mesh system. The BestBuy salesperson recommended this product for ease of set-up and to solve my wi-fi issue. He said he had one and it was very easy to set-up. I was amazed how easy and simple it was to follow the step-by-step set-up instructions and it WORKS! So happy with this product!

    Could have been 5 stars...

Pros: - Super easy setup. Seriously, it took 15 minutes and was the most painless wireless router or mesh setup I’ve ever had. - Rock solid connections. A few older devices needed to be rebooted to pick up the connection (I used the same network name and password as my old network to avoid having to redo logins on a couple dozen devices). But once that was taken care of, zero other connection issues over the past month. - Future-proof. I only have a few WiFi 6 devices now, but this can handle a lot more (and more advanced) connections down the road Cons: - Ongoing monthly fee for a lot of security features. Seriously, who wants yet another subscription (especially when you’re already paying a premium for the hardware)? - Limited advanced controls. This is a mesh for people who don’t like tinkering with computers, not the mesh for IT professionals who want to fine tune everything. But in fairness, if you’re someone like that...you probably already know this isn’t for you.

I have a large, 130 year old house with thick walls and high ceilings. My previous wifi setup often failed to hold up to the challenge, and I frequently lost my wifi in my own house. This resulted in excessive data usage on my phone. This Eero system is handling the load with no problems. As usual, the Geek Squad set-up house call went perfectly. All set now!

Will never use anything other than a mesh system again. These are so much faster and better than conventional routers.

Worked through 3 story cement house, huge upgrade from Google home mesh. Does pair with other eeros if you want to mix and match the pro and standard ones. 60+ devices connected

We used to have a nighthawk whatever and it would drop signal a lot. We have probably 10+ devices on one network and the mesh system seemed to be best after doing some research to help get the best speeds with multiple devices. I’m also a gamer so I needed to be able to hardwire my connection as well. Wifi still isn’t as secure as hard wire. Anyway, this hub has a spot to hardwire one device and with the two beacons around the house, every device is getting a solid connection and only issues we have had have been when our actual internet provider (cable company) drops service. This is also one of the only new mesh router systems with wifi 6 which is also important to maximize efficiency on multiple devices!

A "Mesh Wi-Fi" sends a stronger, and therefore faster (higher data transmission rate), signal to computers and other devices within range. Set-up was easy, and data upload and download speeds to and from computers some distance from the modem are nearly doubled and more reliable. My average-sized house requires only the base and one of the two remote units for full coverage. The units draw about 2.5 to 3 watts each, measured with a Kill-a-watt meter. Set-up requires a phone app. After I installed the system, I noticed that my phone was using more power, indicating it was transmitting data back to Amazon (who owns eero), so I deleted the app, which is not needed once installation is complete.

Love this product, Purchased over a year ago and has made so much difference in Wi-Fi at my home. Before I was constantly losing, Best Buy helped me with this and helped me with my Ring issues at the same time,,, I’m thinking of buying an extender to help with one room at the opposite end of the house Will never go back to the big huge one I had before which took up so much room on a nightstand. You don’t even notice these!!!!!

Eero 6 is super fast and simple to setup. Double Nat with Xfinity router worked just fine. Extra security feature is worth the annual subscription. My Tx rate is nearly doubled.

WiFi the Way it Should Be

I was having difficulty with my old Spectrum router reaching the ground floor of a two floor raised ranch, and connecting to an outdoor security camera. The eero now covers the entire house (2,400 s.f. ), and the outdoor camera very nicely. One quirk that seemed to resolve itself is that initially the outdoor camera would not connect to the nearest mesh router, but rather the farthest. After a day or so it connected to the nearest one. I was also having issues with my Del laptop dropping the wifi with the old Spectrum router. My wife would also have constant FaceTime issues with her iPhone. Those are no longer issues with the eero. Easy to set up, and use. Well worth the price.

I wanted to upgrade my Wi-Fi system in order to get better results with streaming video content. My router and two boosters were not providing an adequate signal to all televisions in the house. (about 1400 square feet) I called Best Buy and the rep suggested this system - eero AX1800 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Wi-Fi System. (2 pack) The package came very quickly and was boxed very well. Setup and configuring the system wasn't too difficult. Initial test showed much improved speed and signal strength was vey good. However, there is still issues with streaming video. The farthest TV's are glitchy and take a long time to connect. Not sure if this is the fault of the Wi-Fi system or Spectrum Internet or my streaming service. Whatever the issue is it is frustrating as I cut the cord because I had heard good things about streaming services. If I find a solution and it turns out the Wi-Fi is not the problem, I will update this review.

My roommates and I were having multiple issues with spectrum. They required our place and even trying their router which failed a lot, and then my router which was a netgear nighthawk that kept dropping out for my roommate after we always got spectrum rewired. Kept running into issues and our place is fairly big so we decided to give this a shot. I read the reviews on this one, and then the price dropped $30 and I went with it. So happy with it. Excellent connectivity and great speeds pretty close to what we had before and no drop outs or disconnects. Can’t recommend this one enough.
