My wifi signal at my new house wouldn't travel through the stone exterior of my office, across the house from my router and modem. This was a low-cost way (no monthly charges) to expand the signal. Easy to set up, and so far, it works great.

This system is the very best, it was recommended by one of the best buy employees, and it proved to be a success. I recommended this anyone that has been having problems with their system. Additionally, the unit switches between the two bands on its own, no input is needed by the user. This is a very nice feature for the new appliances that are still on the 2.4G frequency.

I would recommend the Eero 6 over the nest wifi

However, I am getting an inconsistent internet connection from point a of my living room to my front bedroom. The extension maybe not as advertised.

The layout of your home and the materials used in its construction will determine how much signal reaches each room. Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT.
