Great router for the speeds - Great setup and easily manageable through the app - Great support when you have to call - Terrible router if you’re a late night gamer. The first parts speak for themselves, the later tho? This router LOVES to update. It’s literally a main feature. The physical router itself will update more than any app on your phone. AND YOU CAN’T DISABLE AUTO-UPDATES. Cannot. The good? Security, and whatever else it updates. Thanks for protecting me, I guess. The lack of 2 stars? It kicks you off the internet and makes you lose WiFi connection. If you’re a gamer, sorry, you’re kicked from the game and you take that DNF. If you’re on your phone then (my iPhone) won’t even disconnect WiFi and go to data as it’ll just keep trying WiFi since the router is still on and giving a signal but is off/restarting itself. Sure, it only takes about 1-10 minutes at 1-4am, sure. Not bad. But it’s so annoying and a continuous thing. I am never recommending these to anyone that uses internet after midnight. Too many options on the market to stay with this.

Hi AngelT. Thank you for reaching out about your experience with the eero 6 system. I’m sorry to hear that the performance didn’t meet your expectations. Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to your building. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day AmazonDevices

Had a google nest prior to this and i felt the nest had slightly better coverage. With that said, for the price of this system, it works well and i do like the eero app better than the google home app.

Eero has completely solved our internet dropout and streaming issues! We have replaced Linksys routers and purchased extenders only to find that, while extending the availability of our wifi, it also weakens the original signal from the router. The Eero system seems to provide equal full strength wifi throughout our house!

We have used eero in the past with other internet providers but this did not work with AT&T fiber. Supposed to have 500+ download speeds and in parts of our home could barely get 50.

      Dear TDL40,

Thank you for sharing your experience with the eero 6 mesh system. We understand your frustration with the performance issues you encountered while using it with AT&T Fiber.

While eero systems are generally compatible with AT&T Fiber, optimal setup is crucial for achieving the best speeds. The significant drop from 500+ Mbps to 50 Mbps suggests there might have been some setup configurations that could have been optimized. However, we understand that you were looking for a more straightforward solution that would work efficiently out of the box.

For other AT&T Fiber customers reading this, we recommend:

Ensuring the AT&T gateway is set to IP Passthrough mode
Placing eero units in optimal locations
Checking for any potential interference sources

We appreciate you being a returning eero customer and are sorry this particular setup didn't meet your needs with AT&T Fiber. If you'd like to try troubleshooting these issues, our technical support team is always available to help. Otherwise, we understand if you've chosen a different solution that better suits your needs. pretty decent. doorbell camera had to be charged after the first month. other cameras are at 75% for batterys to claim they last a whole year after the first month doesnt seem itll hold half of that. theyll last a whole year if no movement is detected and they never turn on i suppose. anyways went ahead and just hard wired it to my old doorbell for i wont have that hassle. cameras are magnetic so everything is easy!

I purchased this product just over a month ago. I do a lot of streaming when watching TV. Before I installed this product, we streaming would buffer excessively and we would be kicked out of what we were watching . Since I installed this product, it happens less frequent (periodically it still happens but not as frequent as before). Overall I am happy with my purchase.
