No more dropped Zoom calls

Realized I needed a newer, more-powerful router when my Zoom calls started to end abruptly, for no apparent reason. Seems I was using more devices on a router not strong enough to support the added bandwidth needed. Lesson learned. Geek Squad folks were awesome!

eero is my new Hero

It has not disappointed me. I no longer have buffering issues. My wifi connection has been steady. No connectivity issues since installing eero. The setup requires contacting your current provider if you have AT&T. This is a hassle, but worth the inconvenience for the ROI. The eero customer service agent was knowledgable and thorough on what to say when requesting the switch from your provider.

The surface under the pods tend to get hot so purchased wire cooling racks to place pods on. Also, purchased a 6 feet USB cable so that could put one of the pod in preferred location.

Every now and then someone has trouble connecting but it could also be their device. the router we had before had constant issue. this has been a great and necessary upgrade.
