Hook up super easy and work great. Internet much improved. I also purchased for My son and improved the range in his home too. And added bonus works with centurylink.

It was easy to set up but the sub- routers go off line all the time and I can’t figure out why, the work then the light is red, sometimes they come back and sometimes I have to reset them. It doesn’t make sense.

Speeds are so much faster, smart plugs and light turn on much quicker, YouTube at 4K never buffers and gaming is great.

Does not play nice with Xbox

My Xbox could not connect to the 5ghz. I had to connect via the 2.4ghz and it would not always stay connected. I couldnt hard wire becasue the main router was in another room. I searched everywhere for a fix and nothing worked.

Posted .Hi MarkL, thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with the eero 6 system. I am sorry to hear that you’ve been having connectivity problems. Since your device keeps switching between bands, I would suggest turning off the Client Steering option in the eero app and then observing your device’s behavior. To turn off Client Steering, open the eero app, go to the Settings tab, select Network settings, select Client Steering, toggle the Client steering option off. If this doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Also adaptable by getting more of the eeros and placing them where you need them.

Suggest having your devices forget your network and log back in if you keep the same network name, otherwise you end up connecting at whatever speed your old tech was.

Excellent for parental controls and safety. Need mobile device (app) to manage device. Several features require paid subscription, though (review eero website before purchase).

If using WiFi next to router, I have 400-500 download speeds; if in the living room downstairs, adjacent to booster, I am lucky to get 75.

We discovered that we needed to add another router to really get coverage for what we thought we needed. Still believe they are a good purchase and we are still really getting used to them and that they are meeting our needs.
