We’ve not had any issues and when we’ve streamed movies we watch them like normal.

Our wi-fi reception in all parts of our home is now much better. The installation had a glitch, but was soon resolved by the installer. Many thanks.

The techs name was David and he di an excellent job in setting it up and explaining the system. I was very pleased with his knowledge and professionalism.

This is a spin-off product of Amazon and of course, this means that there are a lot of subscription-based applications that require a monthly fee to get the most out of these routers mesh.

There seems to be a compatibility issue with Sonos music systems though. Had to put the eero gear into bridge mode and let the cable modem do the routing and DHCP work but that seems to have fixed the Sonos issue. I do wish there was a web interface instead of having to do all of the mamagement from my phone.

Supposed to have 500+ download speeds and in parts of our home could barely get 50.

The significant drop from 500+ Mbps to 50 Mbps suggests there might have been some setup configurations that could have been optimized. For other AT&T Fiber customers reading this, we recommend:
Ensuring the AT&T gateway is set to IP Passthrough mode
Placing eero units in optimal locations
Checking for any potential interference sources
