Not a good item at all in my opinion. When I set everything up and moved all the devices around my house it actually made my WiFi slower instead of boosting it.

Cumbersome to configure, kind of good connection, but not completely , but the cost does not justify poor connection issues and the non-user friendly usability.

I make it a point to follow the instructions on all new products that I review. On the enclosed instruction sheet it is claimed that only 4 easy steps are required to get the system up and running. This may be the case but they left out one important item and that is you need to use a device that has WiFi AND mobile data. This is necessary so that you can create an account and provision the base station from the APP that you downloaded to your device. Not knowing this I unfortunately used an IPAD that did not have mobile data and it went badly from there. However a call to tech support was answered in less than a minute by an apparently US based support staff. I was given some things to try that did not work so I called back and again the call was answered in less than a minute. This person explained what was wrong and configured the base station to a point at which I could complete the setup. This is the BEST technical support I have ever received. This is reason enough to purchase this product. They will get your system working. I did strongly suggest they add the caveat that you must use a device with mobile data. It sounded like he has seen this many times before. Installing the extensions could not be easier. You add them thru the APP and its done in seconds. No fuss at all. Now that I have three devices running my network I have no dead spots and the speed is 200 Mbps exactly what I have purchased from my cable provider. No more having to switch networks when I go outside to the backyard, as I had to do with my old WiFi extender that were almost a decade old. It is now one seamless network for 2 and 5 GHz. The base station has one wired Ethernet port should you need one, the extenders do not have an Ethernet port. The APP now running on my iPad is feature rich. It lets you know who is on your network and how much data each has used. You can also see an aggregate of how much data is being used on the entire network. This is great of you have to deal with data caps. You can also block specific devices from your network. It can let you choose your DNS server and add IP reservations. It also has a speed test to keep your provider honest. It can support Guest Access and IPv6. It is also a Zigbee hub which I do not use. Then there are the subscription services you can purchase that provide services like AD blocking, content filtering, a VPN, antivirus and a password manager. There is a free trial available to test this out. This network has exceeded my expectations in both performance and the availability of customer support if needed. If they include that caveat to their setup instructions it would be 5 star. You will not be disappointed in this future proof system.

So far so good. Install was easy. Simply disconnect your current router, unplug your current modem and download the eero application to your mobile device or tablet and follow the instructions. Once set up, the eero app interface shows all connected hubs and all connected device in a clean list. You can customize the name all the devices as well. The app also provides an Activity tab that shows speed and data usage along with security scan info and threats blocked (when subscribed to the security offering). You do get a 30-day trial offer from the time of set-up. I have 200MB internet service and get 100MB – 200MB downloads on all devices. I must say that in order to review this eero 6 mesh system I was worried that I was downgrading from my Linksys router that was a Tri-band mesh system. To my surprise this Dual-band system works even better than my prior one. I was having trouble with intermittent connections with my prior network…You know the times when your Alex speaker just stops playing music or says ‘trying to connect to the internet’. This TrueMesh System has not lost connection to any device once so far. I have the main unit in our living room, one in the basement and one in the garage (2,200 sg. ft ranch). This router also contains Zigbee. Zigbee is a built in smart home hub within the router. This allows you to connect and control compatible devices on your network with Alexa. Only Con I find is the lack of ethernet ports. You only get two ethernet ports on the main unit. The other two nodes have no ports. Would be nice to have two ports on each. Overall though, I am very happy with the 'eero 6' mesh system and would highly recommend it. ~Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews

I have to say this is one of the easiest routers to set up I have ever come across! We have about a 2500 square foot house upper level and basement. I ended up placing 2 of these upstairs and one downstairs. It has literally blanketed out home in very fast wi-fi! We used to have lots of dead zones with our old router where the signal wouldn't get to, or it would be a very weak signal. Now we have a good signal everywhere in the house and even a fairly decent signal out in the yard around our house. As far as setup goes, it really could not be any easier. Just download the app before you get started. Open the app and plug in the main router. Just follow the steps in the app and it will be connected and up and running in a matter of minutes. Then just go through the exact same procedure with the other 2 modules and you will be good to go. Literally from the time I opened the package to when everything was set up was less than 10 minutes. The app gives you lots of control over the router and is very easy to use. It gives you a list of everything that is connected so you can make sure someone isn't connected that shouldn't be. Or in my case lets me know if a child is on their laptop when they claim they are sleeping! Which leads me to the next feature, parental controls. Something every parent needs these days to try to help keep your kids safe on the internet. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this system. If you are someone that is not great with tech things and just want something simple and easy....this is the product for you! Even advanced users like myself will enjoy the simplicity of this system.
