Easy to setup, device connects to the nearest node in order to deliver the fastest speed. The only downside is the limited advanced user options unless you pay for the monthly subscription, however, even the free basic use is extremely efficient and user friendly. I have the of these setup around my property. Two in the house and one in my detached garage and all of them are blazing fast with my gig fiber service.

Great product. No interruption in the service. It’s practically a plug and play device, no additional brain cells to burn to do any configuration. Great wifi coverage, especially when it’s meshed . Overall a solid buy

These are so easy to set up in the Eero app. You can even quickly make a guest network and display a QR code to let visitors log into it. If you still have a computer or camera that only works on 2G though, the WiFi 6 systems won’t work for you because they blend the bandwidth together. My advice is get new equipment and enjoy the speed and range of this device. For IT pros, this Eero even supports bridge mode.

Solid Router. I used it to mesh with my primary Eero Pro 7 core router and it was very easy to add it to my network. It would be good as a standalone but I added the expansion I was looking for. The only negative, and it applies to all Eero Routers is the only way to access them is with a Mobile App. There is no Windows Desktop App.

I had the Eero pro 6 and decided to upgrade to Eero pro 6E, I was skeptical at first thinking it wouldn't make a difference but it did, less congestion. With the former it did great but with the 6E it's better in performance and speed plus it is future proof. Speeds up more with the 6ghz. I enjoy Eero products are the best in my opinion.

Use wired back haul for best results

The main reasons I got this model were because of the ease of remote administration and the support for new frequencies. It’s not a perfect WiFi router but for my needs it excellent. I also have the 6plus models in use at a second home and the App can handle more than one household network. It just makes things easier for me. I do recommend that if at all possible you connect each node to a wired ethernet connection (wired backhaul) instead of depending on the each node to connect via one of the WiFi channels. Also note, if you have metal contraction in you home or building or form insulation these can significantly impact the WiFi signal possibly making wired backhaul the only good option. Hope this helps.

I have extended my Wi-Fi range to my detached garage. The speed is excellent and the installation was a breeze. Meshed perfectly with the eero 6 at my modem. I only needed a power cord. I can now stream anything in my smart garage. Super happy.

I've been a fan of Eero's products since their first. I found the previous Wi-Fi 5 device at initial launch was a gamechanger and I have always been a fan of their customer service. However, I find the distance coverage of this model to be deceiving as I have a total of 4 devices needed to cover a one story 2100sp foot home. I believe this stems on recent software updates which have reduced distance from their first product (which required me to update to this model) and is now creating distance reductions in this model. Besides this issue, I find the product to stable and reliable and would recommend this to others.

Hi Schmeckelp. Thank you for your feedback on the eero Pro 6E. I'm sorry to hear about your range concerns. Each eero Pro 6E router provides coverage up to 2,000 sq. ft. Depending on the layout of your home and the materials used in its construction, more eeros could be needed. I hope this helps. Have a great day! AmazonDevices

I switched from eero pro (wifi5) to eero Pro 6E (wifi 6e). I am getting +150 Mbps internet speed by having the latest eero product. I went roughly from 250 Mbps to 400 Mbps. My internet provider is Spectrum, and I pay for a 400 Mbps service. The reason why I am loyal to eero is for the APP. It looks professional, it is easy to use and it is smooth. I have called customer service two times and they were great and useful. If you are switching from Wifi 5 to Wifi6, you MUST replace all your eero devices to have access to wifi6 in your house/apartments. Your wifi5 old router can be used as an "extender" but any device connected to it will have wifi5 speed. Eero Beacon is NOT wifi6 compatible. You might get the same result with the eero pro 6 but Bestbuy had the eero Pro 6E on sale for almost the same price ($10 dollars difference).

It’s a solid unit even as just a single router but if you need a extender thats where it shines with the mesh network. But I don’t need that really in my small two bedroom apartment it actually only has one small area where I could use it, honestly though my old router my internet provider gave me had less range and was wifi 5 even though im on 6 so i was not getting what i was paying for so this is a huge upgrade very happy and would recommend even as a router replacement let alone if you need mesh. The only problem i have and why it’s a 4 star vs 5 is even though it’s pretty simple to setup and stuff the app has a subscription it try’s to tell you you need which by the way you don’t fully need even though the stuff is useful that’s annoying and to tweak the settings for certain things it’s not easy to learn even though it’s mostly simple when you know how are where but that learning curve isn’t really user friendly. All in all the sales person at best buy was super helpful and the service was great hell even my provider was helpful when i got someone from the US on the line just the setup and app have a few hiccups, however it was worth it.

Speed is great. Compact design I love. Wish there were more ethernet ports on the back, as Xfinity has micro-second drop gaps in their service that can sometimes disconnect my corporate VPN over Wi-Fi throughout the day. After Xfinity rewired my place, they said if it happens again that hardwiring in to my laptop would stop the drops. (can't believe I had to say hardwire) But other than that my Wi-Fi speeds are better with other devices and streaming services.

Added this to a 3-pack system to optimize speed and coverage throughout the house and yard. I tested over 300Mbps everywhere I need coverage which leaves me future-ready for faster and more wireless devices.
