This HP desktop is efficient with a powerful processor. The only aspect I do not like is the clunky keyboard that came with the system.

The HP-Envy has been everything that I require in a computer. I have found it fast enough and 16 gb of memory are great.

At this price ($729) you won't find a much better computer. No issues so far other than having to clear off the spam.

I have always been a fan of HP computers, and this one is no different. A great value, with excellent features, and great design! I know lots of people don't use desktops anymore, so its kind of a niche market these days. I still have a home office with a desk and a monitor and keyboard and all that. So i'm glad companies like HP haven't abandoned the desktop altogether. I will start with the look of the machine. It is a very sleek looking machine. If you look at it from the front, you wouldn't even really know that its a desktop computer. All the ports and things are tucked away on the top of the computer and the back. I like that because it cleans up the cables so you don't have them sticking out of the front of your computer. There is plenty of regular USB ports for most people. But only one USB-C port. SO you might need to purchase an extra hub or some adapters if you have more than one USB-C port. As far as the performance goes. It is pretty solid for your everyday desktop computer. Large hard drive, 16GB of RAM, i7 processor. The one thing I think that kind of holds this computer back is the hard drive though. It would have benefited from having maybe a 256GB SSD drive for the operating system and programs. Then I think the machine would be a lot more peppier! But as I said, if you are purchasing this for a everyday home office computer, you wont be disappointed. Hardcore gamers, video or photo editors and heavy users like that might find the specs a little lacking and might want to at least upgrade the hard drive. Overall, I am very happy with this machine. It runs great, I haven't had any problems with it, and it has all the ports and things that I would need. ...although your results may vary. Definitely worth checking out of you are looking to upgrade an older home desktop computer.

Bought to replace a computer that died. Setup was painless, fast and easy. My first HP computer and am pleased with it

All are great, but the score just 4? It does not have an SSD and USB ports on the top panel really hard to reach

I got this computer for one reason, and that was for it to be a family computer for the kids and my wife and I to use. We are by far an Apple family. We have iPhone, iPads, iPad Pros, and MacBooks. I love the build quality of Apple products and they just seem to last a long time. But in the past, I have used PCs and liked them a lot. The integration between them and Apple products was decent before, and now I have found that it is still really good. That being said, it was not my primary reason for getting this computer. I chose this one because of the features. Specifically, I love the large memory capacity of 1TB and 16GB of RAM. The Optane memory is something I still don't quite understand, but I liked the idea behind it. It is super fast, so I assume the Optane has something to do with that. It is supposed to streamline things so they open faster. I actually began considering this because of Windows 10. Before Window got rid of the start menu and I really hated the format they went to in order to streamline things across all their devices. Nice idea, but I think they failed with that concept. It is what sent me to Macs. Now they have fixed that and I love the renewed format in Windows 10. Finally, I love the fact this has a wireless keyboard and mouse. It is so sleek. I love the way it looks, feels and responds. So, I decided to add a 27" HP Monitor to go with this computer, and in the loft at my house it now functions well as a smaller TV for Netflix and Hulu for the family. The computer does NOT come with a monitor, you need to buy one yourself. I really like this computer, and think you will too. I think it is well work the money and it serves more than it's purpose for my family and I.
