Great laptop. Its great for doing work and has a great processor and memory for everything i needed to use it for.

first I saw all the not so good reviews, but I tried it at the store. bought the computer and brought it home. absolutely fantastic, turned it on did all the updates. super fast, kinda wish I got the model with higher ram. but maybe in the future. all in all, it is a great product.

I purchased this laptop yesterday at the Mays Landing, NJ Best Buy Store. I was so excited to use this laptop, but unfortunately the moment I turned it on the screen displayed an error message. The HP website instructed me on how to fix this, I figured it was a common issue upon first start up. Well, between yesterday and today I have received that message about 20 times. I called geek squad and they told me to just return it, with no information on what is actually wrong with it. I called HP and they informed me that it is a hard drive issue and the drive would need to be rewired. Long story short, I have to return this laptop the day after I purchased it because of this issue. I am so disappointed because otherwise it is a phenomenal laptop - fast, beautiful design, wonderful screen quality, I love the laptop, I hate that I a having issues with it so soon and have no choice but to return it.

This computer has overall great qualities but there are some things that are not working or I'm not understanding correctly. It says that this particular laptop has 10.5 hours of battery life but I might be lucky if I get 5 on my brand new laptop. I don't how to make the battery work to it's fullest capacity. Also I tried to download all the photos from my phone to my laptop and then move them to an external hard drive but it only downloaded half my photos to the laptop. Other than these problems, I think the laptop is great! I just wish I could figure out these two problems so I could fully enjoy my new laptop.

- Issue with WiFi driver/adapter. Will lose WiFi and have to reset adapter. This happened with a previous HP laptop so I was leery to get a second one. The salesperson said all computers use the same adapters, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's only been 7 weeks and the issue has already cropped up. - The Bang & Olufsen speaker doesn't work properly. There is a lot of static with intermittent low volume increasing to high volume without touching the volume keys. Volume starts out so low you can barely hear the audio then after a few seconds the volume is very loud then reverting back to low volume. - I do like the quick start up of the computer.

I like it, but it'll disconnect from the wifi a lot

I know I gave this 3/5 stars and that's because the laptop is almost perfect! The speakers on this thing rattle and often oscillate with volume. I have noticed that when my volume is at 100% I can barely hear it. When the speakers are not in use (such as doing homework). They vibrate on their own making a weird sound. Performs like $2000 laptop. AMD has done an awesome job with the Ryzen series. Add an extra 8gb of RAM if you can!

I have no issues with the laptop - it's a very nice machine. When I purchased it was advertised with the Raise The Game promotion for 3 free games. I purchased two laptops one for each child. BB have run out of codes so if the games are important to you - you might not get your games! I received ONE coupon from BB that I am unable to redeem via AMD Rewards because their verification tool says I don't have a supported GPU. BB Still advertise this machine with the Raise The Game promotion. I've tried to reach out to BB via phone and email with no success. I get sent round in circles. Very disappointed with the customer service received.

I've purchased 6 other HPs since back in the day in 1995. This is the first one that I've had to return. Twice! While using the laptop, the screen would randomly just go blank. I also noted that it would lose internet connection at times, and the keyboard was not as responsive as I would expect. It was fast and the screen images were sharp. My guess is that there was a bad batch of these and all of them do the same thing. I traded up to a 17 inch screen and reluctantly stayed with HP. At least, if this new one is a lemon, too, I know what my trade in options will be.

This product and the Ryzen 5 product information about the processor is incorrect. The Ryzen 5 was described at 6 core with 12 threads and the Ryzen 7 was showing 8 core and 16 threads (And over worst customer server). Make sure you do your investigate about what you are really getting (Bought each computer and neither one were what I really received) Imagine, design and create without boundaries. I have bought this laptop just to return it and replaced it....twice. 2 brand new laptops with 3fo errors after hibernate and sleep. Additional ly an unresponsive touchscreens on the first one out of the box. All after spending the day updating everything from sound card to bios. When the computer works it's a really nice laptop. When it works... I have to go to the store for the 3rd time to return it.

This toy just aint worth it. More trouble than its worth.
