This laptop has been exactly what I hoped for with a few caveats. I was looking for a standard laptop with top CPU and audio. Hard to find anymore unless you buy a gaming rig. We went ahead and bought this model with the 2in1 flip screen and it has come in handy if nothing more than using it as a portable TV for streaming online, The laptop is plenty fast to run anything I've messed with so far. I cannot speak to running games though because I use a desktop for that, but for online use, videos, and light editing it has run great. My few problem with it are that it has an internal battery and the hinge is already making noise. The internal battery seems to be standard on everything now but I loved being able to buy extras and have them in case of long use. This is somewhat mitigated by the fact that I can charge this laptop slowly with my 30W RAVPower battery pack through the USB-C port. It makes traveling much easier also as you don't have to bring the laptop power cord, I can use the same 60W 4-port Nextek USB block to charge my phone and laptop. The other problem is the right hinge is clicking when opening the laptop. I'm hoping that's just a noise and not a warning of worse things to come. Overall I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a nicely spec'ed laptop for a reasonable price. Just wait till it's on a good sale.

I'm still getting used to this laptop/tablet idea. I did discover that if you have it in tablet mode, it doesn't work the same as the laptop does (ie: icons in tray in laptop mode are not there, but are in the windows area). I am still getting comfortable with the tablet mode, so it is all my usage preferences. I like the touch screen too. I would buy this again from what I know so far.

Is a good computer for college and I’m extremely happy I choose this computer over a MacBook because I’m allowed to do more things in the envy than what a MacBook has to offer. I really love how it was a 360 computer that allowed me to switch to tablet mode for when I have to add drawings into my papers

Easiest computer I've ever had to set up. Very fast set-up, too. Seems to be good quality. Only one slight annoyance, and one I should have thought of: Silver keys and slight printing on the keycaps make them difficult to read, especially in not-so-wonderful lighting. Other than that, great device.

works great, i7, ssd hard drive. 2-1 and hd screen with 12 gig ram and lighted key board. works fast and smooth and for under 800. cant ask for much more and the best buy guys worked extremely well finding me what I was looking for, thanks

I use the computer for maintaining my budget, paying bills, searching the internet and maintaining my business records. It is very fast to boot up and download from an external device. It also downloads to an external hard drive very fast. I would recommend this computer to a friend.

I love my new laptop It has helped me to work from home and have more time for other things it is easy to use and I have learned many different things that you can do with it. My kids all want one now also we love that it has a touch screen. the touch screen makes it faster to get work done.

Now that I have used this laptop for a month, I can say that I am very satisfied with the speed, the ease of use and the speakers. I am not a gamer or businessperson, but it has plenty of storage for a person who has lots of pics and video utilized as a naturalist and amateur photographer.

I purchased the HP - ENVY X360 2-in-1 on a recommendation by the Best Buy employee. I'm not a gamer or a computer geek. I mainly use it for internet and a small business. Does everything I need plus more! A great computer and tablet all in one. And on sale it is worth every penny!!!!

I had a hard time choosing a laptop. There are so many features to choose from, but this 2 in 1 meets all my needs for college and work. I go into tablet mode for watching online class lecture videos. The keyboard keys are a nice size for typing on and I love having the touch screen.

This HP Envy is the best laptop (above the best) for school/collage students. It has a fast Intel i7 processor, 12GB ram and 256GB SSD. Win10 is running really well with no issues. Setting it up was so easy and fast. The Envy is working very well with no issues or hiccups. Battery is lasting long enough (thanks to SSD technology) it also charges fast. The down side of this laptop would be the SSD small capacity! Not good enough if you want to save big files (movies, games...) I back up most of my data to cloud and/or on external storage medias. Not usually fan of touch screen on laptops but it can be handy some times when you are using it in tab mode. Just scrolling or viewing somethings. Slim design, light weight but still strong and shock (rational) resistant.

November 24th 2020 will mark two years of owning this laptop. The screen gets nice and bright. The screen also shows lots of smudges because of it being a touch screen. I rarely ever use it as a touch screen or even fold it into a pad because of how big and awkward it is in pad mode. I have develop a slight white line and a dot that seems to be on the LCD. Within the first couple of days of owning this laptop I noticed that the fan gets really loud and the battery life is very short. I almost always have to have it plugged into the charger and if I plan on taking my laptop anywhere I always have to take the charger with me. I also notice that some of the light up buttons arent as bright as the others. If your on it in the dark its actually quite hard to see the lit up buttons, they are a lot different than Apples keyboard.

Laptop is very high end and working fine till yet without issues . Speed is very good as well looks . Nice for use for personal works as well as some professional works like photoshop . I tried some games also which ran fine . But too much gaming guy , so won’t comment for it .

Love this computer and its adaptability. It is light and doesn't put out much heat. So, you can keep it in your lap while working. It starts up fast to allow you to start surfing internet, playing games, or whatever you do with your computer. LOVE THIS COMPUTER!!!

bought this for my wife she uses it for her personal use. and has loved the touch screen and fast responses. she is very impatient and loves that she does not have to wait. only upgrade I should have done is upgrade to 16M of ram.

I had a 2010 Hp laptop that I was looking to update and this one more than meets my expectations. The touchscreen is nice. I do miss the internal cd/dvd drive thought that's the price to pay for other desirable features. Overall very happy with this product to date.

The only reason I can not give this a full 5 star rating is the fact that this computer was a replacement for my broken one and this one has less space available for memory. I have to download everything from my computer to an external harddrive to keep my computer from running slow. Other than that I have no complaints regarding this product.

I bought this as a replacement for my 6 yr old Samsung. This is a wonderful upgrade. I wasn't sure how much I would like a touch screen, but I use it more often than expected. The responsiveness of the SDD is fantastic, I won't go back to a spinning drive again!
