Though bigger it's much better than his chromebook he was using. Also had some compatibility issues with chromebook. It's a little big for carrying around in a backpack but he doesn't seem to mind. Bigger screen good for playing games. If using a lot during the day then need to carry charger along. Purchased during $150 off sale otherwise might have gotten something else.
