This replaces my hp pavilion dv4 from 10 years back. It is quiet, fast, and can multi-task easily. The graphics are bright and clear. The battery lasts well-depends on the task but doesn’t last 12 hours as described in sales literature. I am well pleased with this laptop except the keys and keyboard are silver-no contrast. I do type using the QWERTY system but if the keys were more visible, I’d like it better. It’s a very attractive laptop. The size is great too. I have a 14 inch and a 13.3 inch. I prefer the 15.6 inch screen. It’s better for watching movies. So far everything works as it should. Very pleased!

Computer is really fast and the battery life is awesome. I’m in nursing school and use the computer for everything and couldn’t be happier. I had a MacBook for 6 years before it crashed and I decided to go with an HP laptop not another Mac. I don’t regret my decision at all. The screen is big and touch screen which is a plus! The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was paying for antivirus software but I was just used to not having to that with my Mac. Not a dealbreaker though I still love my new laptop!

This HP Lap Top is the end choice of two months worth of evaluating competing products. The size, style and versatility can not be matched against its peers. The back lit keyboard, the depth of sound provided by the speaker system and the quick start up / shut down have improved my computing experience beyond expectations. The screen wrap around to create a tablet is also a big plus for me as a teacher. I have no negative items to mention after nearly two months of use. Highly recommended.

I have owned many laptops in the past 15 years and HP continues to impress me above all others. Out of the box setup was simple, intuitive and guided by on screen prompts. The quality of the laptop is exceptional. Battery life is very good and the display is the best I have seen in a laptop. The overall thin design, key stroke smoothness and functionality are amazing. I have owned Dells, Lenovo’s, and this exceeds all of them. I will stick with HP for all future laptop purchases.

It’s an easy enough computer to use especially with the little extras from HP. Very speedy machine but wish I would have gotten a larger hard drive.

I bought this computer to replace an older one. This one has greatly reduced my work time because it is so much faster than my old one. Battery life is outstanding.

Computer is slim, and fairly lightweight. Keyboard is easy to use, screen is well lit. Holds power well - can use most of the day for work / email with no issues.

As far as the many computers I've purchased over the years, this has proven to be the best. The fist one we received was defective; however, Best Buy exchanged the machine no questions asked and we are loving the performance. There are so may new gadgets that we have yet to explore. Can't wait to finish going through all the features. We use this machine professionally and it works so well when we need to log into the outside server. We are very happy with this purchase

When looking for a new computer I knew I would want another HP because my old HP had done so well and had lasted many years. This new HP has been perfect so far! I like the numeric keyboard on the layout and the size/weight is great. I also like the battery supply - it last for hours so I don’t have to tote around the cord all the time. I’ve had the computer for about 6 weeks now .. hopefully it’ll continue working as well 6 months and 16+ months from now too!

I missed out on the specter version that had 16MB of ram and was a doorbuster at 1100 bucks. This one has the exact same processor and “only” 12 MB of ram. And no it doesn’t have the 4K screen. However, it is a great laptop. Fast, great battery life, high resolution, simple, simple setup and start working. Great buy as it was only 700 plus and at the end of the day. I am glad missed the 4K model. I am very happy with this laptop and spent less money than I had planned.

To begin with, I would start with the Pros: 1. Great form factor: thin and light-weight and aesthetic feeling 2. Good performance: Fast and Efficient Cons: 1. Keys are spread in an unconventional manner, which is not a very efficient usage of available space. Keys look far apart, not quiet friendly to a full-time user. 2. Battery performance is slightly on the lower side. In my usage thus so far, I've got about 5 hours of average usage on a moderate usage. Lowering the brightness and turning off the keyboard back lights, it can be further extended by another hour or so. 3. Touchpad seems a bit flashy and registers even drags as clicks. This might be a defect on my machine, but doesn't look so. 4. The biggest con according to me: HP, with the space of 256GB you cannot allocate 35GB as a backup drive. The only usable space on this PC is about 160GBs which is too low. 5. Noisy FAN I'm using it as my main PC in grad school. I cannot vouch for its performance yet coz the only task I put it to was to access the server to carry out my tasks. I got this for 750 bucks so not a bad deal overall. Recommended this if you get it for less than 800 bucks.
