    I purchase the high capacity cartridges. They last longer and represent a better value. Do not have to worry about ru ing out so frequently.

    I use my printer for a lot of reports. I use both color and black ink. I prefer the larger cartridges to avoid changing them out very often.

    I have an HP Envy 5660. It is a great printer. I use it a lot so I prefer the XL cartridges to get the maximum use out of my printer.

    The cartridges seem to last only a few hundred pages and so the cost exceeds ten cents per copy. I put the printer in ink saving mode but it doesn't help much. I have no choice but to buy these but will be very careful not to select an Epson printer next time.

    My wife is a second grade teacher, we go through a lot of these cartridges throughout the school year. Print quality is great, however I do not believe I have seen a 1000 page yield from one of these cartridges. All in all it's still a decent deal for the money.
