Expensive cartridges even though the printer was cheap. So you pay for it in ink. Quality isn't very high either.

this cartridge may print 200 cartridges on the Epson printer at best

This did not work well. I refreshed my printer multiple times and the color still came out uneven. Brought both color and black and white ink but couldn’t get an even picture!

I was pleased to see that Best Buy matched the price of this ink with Amazon. I question how fresh the product was. The new ink prints spotty and faint most of the time.

Epson Rep stated it would work on my printer. It does not. Very unsatisfactory.

Have used this product for some time now. Reliability is key and this product answers the call.

Really no much to saw about ink in general. This is black ink at it's finest however. For inkjet printers I'm a believer in Epson quality from their mid/upper range Workforce printers. After 2 decades wedded to HP printers, I switched to Epson and was astounded at the difference in quality of color and near laser quality black prints. Initially the smaller ink cartridges get to be a hassle, but since Epson now has XL and XXL cartridges that issue isn't a problem anymore and the quality of true Epson ink is remarkable -- dries immediately, no smearing, and looks black and not mushy grey. I've used refilled cartridges from Costco which aren't bad for non- OEM, but even it pales side by side with the true ink. Ebay replacements (dye or pigment based) are even worse and ruined two printer heads with clogs. These are costly, but for me it's worth the extra since I only go through less than 2 black sets yearly and probably a single color series.

The XL ink lasts a long time and I tend to print a lot since I work from home.

This is by far the best black ink for my transparency film needs. It covers evenly and is very dark on the film. However, be sure to use the "matte" setting on your printer for max ink coverage.

Have a Workforce 845 and have never had a problem with it. Best Buy has the best price on inks and offers free shipping. No need to shop anywhere else for ink.
