Very hard to work. Have to reset say out of paper all the time. It’s a pain

The print quality is poor. This could be due to the fact that we don’t use it often, but that’s still not an excuse for it not to work or print properly anytime that I’ve tried to use it in the past year.

I've always been a fan of Epson Inkjet printers for printing our pictures, from their printing quality to their multi-cartridge design. Our last one, a Stylus Photo R280, has lasted over 10 years. Now, with the EcoTank 2720, I am an even bigger fan! Having refillable tanks is a wonderful, welcomed upgrade (after having bought so many cartridge packs). Not only do you save money, there's much less waste. And using the bottles is so easy! The ink bottles are notched so that they only fit the corresponding tank (don't have to worry about accidentally mixing colors). There is enough in the included set of bottles to fill, turn on and go through the 10 minute "charging" of the printing system, and then top off with the remaining amount. The photo printing is just as good as I've come to expect from Epson. And having wireless printing capability is great! It makes it easier to do a quick print from my phone (and using the Epson iPrint app made it really easy, which you can even use to print items from a cloud storage site). You can also set it up to use Google Cloud Print (you know, so you can print your pictures when you're not even home!). That setup was quick, just enter the IP address of the printer in a browser, select Google Cloud Print Services, and a few clicks later (provided you are already logged into your Google account) it's done and it prints a confirmation page for you. You also have the option to connect to AirPrint or Epson Connect Services (which even lets to scan and upload directly to several cloud storage sites). Coping and scanning are easy enough, and you can also do both using the iPrint app (with scanning you can save it as a PDF or JPG locally or a cloud storage site). When I tried out the copying, I used a somewhat colorful brochure to test it out and it seemed to be a little soggy in a few places where it had printed the most (using regular 20lb copier/laser paper). It took a little while to finally dry. I am also impressed with the size of it. For an all-in-one, is has a decently small footprint. It is actually over 3" narrower than the R280, maybe 2 inches deeper, and only an inch taller. I've had another all-in-one from Epson (maybe 10-15 years ago), and it was huge! This may not be a heavy duty workhorse all-in-one, but it should be suitable for a small/home office.

I received my printer and put my ink it. It would not print right. I think bought cleaner to clean it out. Now it will not print any colors at all and are saying “non-printing features are available”.

It’s still not printing I’ve spent 3 hours on the phone with a Epson technician and I still can’t get it to print. Very disappointing! I would recommend the printer however you would need someone to get it working the Epson tech was no help he hung up knowing it wasn’t printing.

Epson has finally offered a printer that frees the user from those expensive cartridges that we have to figure out how to dispose of after they run out of ink. This printer uses relatively inexpensive EcoFit ink bottles ($14 for the black ink and $42 for the three color bottles) that fill a separate inkwell for each of the four colors. Epson claims that using these low-cost replacement ink bottles can save up to 80% vs using traditional ink cartridges. A set of four replacement bottles is said to be equivalent to approximately 80 individual standard ink cartridges. Setup is fairly straightforward using the provided software. There's an extensive 220-page User Guide that covers the printing as well as the copying and scanning features of the printer. Epson claims that using this refillable inkwell method can produce up to 4500 black pages or 7500 color pages for each refill. Obviously, I can't confirm this in the short time I had to do the review, but I hope to get somewhere near those numbers. It has built-in wireless, so once connected to your network, you can print from your computer, your tablet and/or your phone. Cartridge-free printing could well be the wave of the future and this printer is leading the way.

We are very disappointed. We refilled ink after 1 month and then stopped working. Now this printer is able to be returned. We purchased this May 15, 2020! We used a handful of times.

The printer only worked for 3 months and was hardly used, the black color stopped printing and then the magenta.

Do not buy. Stopped working 3 weeks after my return period. Won't evenrecognize paper in the feeder

Bought it in December 29th 2020 , worked good till today August 2nd 2021. Bestbuy did there best to clean/test fix....still not printing. They gave Epson service number to get warranty through them.

Printer barely worked - color failed 6 months after we bought it and no matter how many cleanings we ran it never came back. Now I'm out the price of the printer plus an extra set of all ink.

Piece of junk, to many paper jams. If u can not pull out the paper u are stuck. Not designed for removing a paper jam . Eason can not fox

Ive been having problems with the colored ink s since I bought it. It is so time consiming to use colored ink, you have to do cleaning and checking before you can have a nice colored prints.

Was good up until my warranty then it just stopped printing. To top it off they (best buy) said they cant do anything about it when I spent 200 and some change on a printer that didnt even last me 2 months

This does come with the auto loader nor the auto document feeder. For the price it seems it should be more versatile than it is. I guess the cost is equated because my man, Shaq sponsors it
