ink cartridges would not install did not think it was a quality product.

This printer does not offer any of the options I need.

So I was worried I would make a huge mess when I realized that I had to pour a bottle of ink into the printer cartridges.......it could not have been easier!!! They are right in the front so no more trying to look in at an awkward angle or trying to get into some tight spot like other printers. You just flip up a little cover on front and their they are...easy to see and fill. The bottle turns upside down right into the opening so you do not even really need to hold it. Each bottle filled the tanks with a little left over. After charging the ink what was left refilled them. You can visually monitor the ink levels which is awesome. Setup only took a couple of minutes and the directions were pretty basic. The wireless printing feature works really well, I was at the other end of the house and had no issues. Overall it seems to be a good printer. It took about 14 minutes to print 50 pages of normal print which seems a bit long to me. I am just glad it wasn't in color as that would have really taken some time. There are a few things that are lacking in my opinion, such as being able to eprint and a memory card slot. The eprint is more of the important feature to me as I am able to print stuff out when I am not home for other family members or myself to swing by and grab. The printer feels a little flimsy compared to others I have had in the past. Only time will tell how long this ink setup last compared to normal cartridges and if the printer will last. Seems a bit expensive for such a basic printer.

We bought this printer in 2020, and it has worked perfectly since. The only thing we need to maintain is the ink, which lasts us a couple of years without refills.

Being in the market for a printer, this Epson popped up on my radar and I'm thrilled it did. I'm not a high-volume printer here at home but I like things to work flawlessly with little messing around and, so far, this printer fills the bill perfectly. It prints fast, output looks great whether straight black or color prints and I can place it where it is most convenient to me, all BIG pluses in my book. Setup was easy and foolproof. The wireless networking setup was also pleasantly easy and the connection is reliable. The last wireless printer I had trained me to give up on the concept, it was that bad and this from a big name in the industry. That experience was a bad joke; setting up this little Epson literally brought a smile to my face. I really like the concept of ink tanks and reduced ink costs but only time will tell how it pans out. Also, because my printing tends to be sporadic [a few pages here, a few photos there scattered in with high volume print jobs on occasion] I've become all too familiar with dried up ink cartridges, clogged nozzles, all that fun stuff. As another reviewer mentioned, I plan to run a scheduled task once or twice a week to keep the system limbered up. EPSON, if you're listening, please make your printers wake from sleep on a network event [receipt of a print job]. With everything I've seen so far, were that to be realized, you'd have my printing business from here on in. All in all, a great printer for my home printing needs. We'll see how things do with less than daily usage but I'm optimistic.

The Epson Eco Tank 2720 printer works great if you need occasional to moderate color printing. If you need fast, frequent, or heavy duty color printing, this may not be the printer for you. As an inkjet printer, it does not print super fast and it’s not very efficient for printing lots of black and white text. But if you need to print in color occasionally for school or work it works just fine. The Wireless connectivity works great and I can easily print from my android phone, iPad, MacBook Pro, and Chromebook from anywhere. It also has a built in color scanner that also works as a color copier, both work well and are nice features. The printer is light in weight with a relatively small footprint (a bit bigger than a square foot) making it easy to move around. The initial setup does take some time, 30-60 minutes, while you fill the ink tanks, initialize the print heads, download and install firmware updates, setup wireless, install printer drivers and utilities to your computer, and print test pages. But once that’s all completed, you are good to go. Overall, it works great for occasional to moderate color printing, scanning, and copying.

Very good for an inexpensive all-in-one printer. I prints lots and lots of great grandkids pictures. I like the eco-tank. It has saved a lot of money in ink.

I was hesitant to buy this printer, because I was used to Epson's professional wide format printers for my photography. I finally had to stop using them because it costed too much to fill them, and the photography wasn't selling as fast as it once did. In the meantime, I tried a few low cost printers, but the cartridges were too expensive. One of the low cost printers was an HP, and it was horrible and slow. Then I saw the Eco Tank printers, and I decided to try one. I really wanted the wide format one, but didn't want to spend the money for something I might not be happy with. I wanted to mostly print out things for craft items to sell, so I didn't really need a high end machine. I decided on the lowest priced one, because I figured that if I was happy with it, and made money with it, I would be able to get the wide format one later. I read a lot of reviews, and they were pretty mixed about the results. Well, I have to say, for my graphics for my greeting cards, I am really happy. I print on Epson's Heavy Weight mat paper, and don't use the highest settings, and they look beautiful! I do use Linux mint, (Ubuntu), and it was a bit of a challenge getting a driver that actually worked. I had to do a lot of stuff in the terminal, but once I got through that, I was fine. I finally ended up using Turbo Print, which isn't free, but I like it. I had no problem connecting to WIFI and printing from that. I haven't tried scanning yet, because I have a really beautiful scanner. Anyway, for printing graphics, it's not too slow, and the colors are vibrant on the Epson paper. Even the lower resolution test prints I did on regular copy paper were quite good. The test prints weren't as good as the others, but I was impressed with how they came out. I printed about thirty pages of graphics today, as well as doing the ink charging thing, and still have full tanks of ink, so I am very happy with that! The tiny screen display kind of stinks, but it's usable. Anyway, I'm giving this five stars because for a lower end printer, it is quite impressive!

Bought this to replace an old (very old) Brother MFC whose jets had clogged irreparably. The setup was easy although it defaults to requiring you to confirm a paper size change every time you actually change the size in the rear feed. Luckily, this may be disabled in the settings so it just works as you would expect when you change the paper size and specify that size in the computer's Printer Setup (Page Setup) dialog. Not worth removing a star for that as it's easy to fix. The ink tank system is easy to fill. I found there was extra ink remaining in the bottles after the initial fill so I kept the bottles around for a couple of weeks and, when the ink level had gone down a bit, I placed the bottles back into the fill positions and the rest of the ink drained into the tanks. (My printer came with an extra black tank; unexpected bonus, I guess.) Printing normal quality happens at a reasonable speed. There is a faster setting and that does reduce the quality a little but not unexpected. The higher/highest quality settings (on photo paper!) look great although the print speed is v-e-r-y slow. (That's not a complaint.) My default printer is a Brother B&W laser. I only use this Epson color printer for photos (yeah, I know it's only a 4-color but the quality is excellent) and the occasional event card. It's connected to my Mac via USB. I do have it connected to my network via WiFi (no Ethernet port) and the rest of my Macs, PCs, and Android phones can print to it just fine. BTW: I powered off the printer and, when I returned from a month-long trip, it printed perfectly without any clogs. Can't ask for more.

Good quality and save money with excellent printer.

Yes i can print from my phone or say Hey Alexa print my term paper and it does. I was so thrilled to get this new wireless printer. Easy set up i put it in my daughters room so she can print her projects from school and i can print from anywhere in my house from any device i own. This is so cool. I really like thid product. I have used epson in the past and i was replacing ink constantly costing me $50-$80 every 6-8 weeks for regular ink (approx &180/ year on ink. Last january i decided to purchase the Epson 2720 Eco tank ptinter. What a game changer. I highly recommend anyone including myself, to get this all in one printer. Not only 11 months later, i hm still using the original ink bottles and havent had to teplace any yrt. My black is just 1/2 down and the colors are pretty full yet. Ive already saved $$ on ink compared to the original cartridges. I would highly recommend this prosuct. I am thinking of purchasing another one for sublimation ink bottles The only downfall is trying to find them in stock, because thry ate a hot commodity for the price.

I bought this in 2021, it is 2024 now. I havent had to buy ink yet! I dont print all the time but still. Great printer
