The Epson EcoTank ET-3830 is an excellent all-in-one printer. Print quality is very good for both documents and color images, and the ink tank system saves a lot of money compared to cartridges. Setup was easy, wireless printing works perfectly, and the scanner and copier are very convenient. It’s fast, reliable, and perfect for home or small office use. Highly recommended.

Overall I am very pleased with this printer. First off, it holds a lot of paper. The speed of printing is about average. Color and print quality it good as well. I do not recommend this one for pictures, but would highly recommend it for home/office use if you print a lot. The color tank is a life saver over ink cartridges. They are so easy to refill. The printer does not directly measure the tanks so it is advised to periodically check the ink levels. Putting the ink in is almost idiot proof. The size is perfect for our home office. The only thing I would recommend to do beyond the basic setup is to create a static IP address for it so that everything on your network will quickly find it every time. Beyond that, if you want a nice home printer, consider this one.

This printer is great. It was smooth to set up, and the interface is simple and straightforward. This is my first Ecotank and I was worried about the ink refilling process, but it was easy and mess free.

Works as advertised. Have all Apple devices so didn’t install the Epson software as it works perfectly via AirPrint. It does take a few extra steps to use the scanner way, but 99% of the time I’m printing so it works for me. It’s quick and quiet (for a printer) and the print quality is very good. Only really small complaint is the power light on the front IS CRAZY BRIGHT. When it’s in sleep mode it does pulse, from dim to CRAZY BRIGHT. So if you need it dark at night, this will light the whole house…LoL

This printer prints so nice. It was a breeze to set up by simply downloding the app and following the instructions. It was not much different than my Epson F170. The only issue I have had is that the paper jams when you do a print on both sides project. But a single print is great. And, It is nice being able to buy bottles of ink instead of the cartridges. You will save so much money that way.

Easy setup worth for the price if you searching for a less cost printer buy it

This was an easy choice. My employer invested in a similar printer and I was impressed how functional the unit was. It prints very clear photos, drawings and any type of documents you send to print. The refillable ink tanks is a major plus and wise investment versus toner cartridges that cost hundreds of dollars. You have the option to print back-to-back to save on paper and we've used it to scan documents too. If you have several pages to scan, you should elect purchasing the expensive version. We had an HP printer that utilized ink cartridges and got tired of it very quickly since the quality of images was not very good. This is a very wise investment for an overall quality printer.

Great printer. Easy to install. Works well. MInimizes the use of ink cartridges. Have had it for a year and still on the first ink install.

Love this Printer. Now I dont run out of ink, I run out of paper. I no longer have to worry about ink I now print as much as I want when I want nonstop. Its a really great feeling, very liberating, its one less thing I need to worry about. My previous printer is also an epson, this ecotanks idea just works. The print quality is Excellent. Quick Tip: Use photo quality paper for photos, when I use it its the same as if I had gone to a Department Store quality or even better. All arts and crafts ideas and project I wanted to do I am now doing them and I feel more relaxed now as a result. Love tank printers. And this epson one is Excellent. Quick tip #2: the difference between ecotanks is pretty much display screen size, and does it have automatic 2 sided print. Thats pretty much it. This printer yes does have automatic 2 sided print. And yes the screen display is larger. These last two reasons are why I bought this model of ecotank. And i am glad i did. These are very important to me. 2 sided automatic print is very important to me. It means the printer automatically flips the page itself to print on the other side. This is of crucial importance for me. And i can confirm also that the bigger screen does matter a lot. I can feel a big difference and its very clear. I have not too great vision and now i no longer have to squint my eyes and my eyes do not hurt later as a result. Bigger screen display means gor me that i dont have to squint my eyes, its important because if i force my eyes and squint a lot, that makes eye pressure go up, and eyes deteriorate quicker. This model having a bugger screen display solves that. And the resolution is great, really top notch, very brigh and clear. Its a really fun to use gadget, this printer. I find myself looking for things to print. And you can use "paper vinyl heat transfer" with the ink it already includes. Did I mention all ink bottles are included, ink bottles are big size and filled to the top, the same exact you would buy at the store later. Great deal. And I have printed so much and the ink levels are still full, you get a really great bang for your buck. I have even printed books. Since its si cheap to print and lasts for sooo many prints, many thousands of prints, that a lot of stuff I had gathered and saved in documents I printed and made my one book of stuff and information I like to read at. Also I really like maps, and so I printed my own maps book from map images on the internet. And i saw a video I think on odysee or was it rumble, cant remember, but its about printing 9 pages of a single map which you can then tape together and have a really big single map from 9 pages printed which are taped together. I make now my own pamphlets too, about anything I want to make a pamphlet about. Or booklets about.

The Epson 3830 is very easy to use and fast. Recharging the ink is very easy, just open and dump in. Ink stops flowing when container is fill. Also very compact compared to my HP. Works great.

This printer has been great! We have had a few printers over the years and honestly we are worn out with printers that function for a year and then have issues with color printing or other various malfunction. This printer is easy to use, sets up quickly, connectivity was a breeze, filling the ink containers was simple and no mess! We recommend this printer to anyone that needs a color printer at home! The cost is higher than average, but with the expectation of a better product, it has lived up to that price tag this far.

Things started out not good. Product was mis-delivered to a neighbor who was kind enough to bring it to me. After that, everything has been great. Printer was easy to set up and is easy to operate. Printer runs fairly quiet. Nice large paper tray and the Eco-Tank style of ink delivery is great. Have printed enough to be running low on ink on Cartridge printer and have hardly made a dent in the ink supply. So far, very satisfied. Get things delivered to the right house and you will be perfect. Thanks

This printer is eady to set up and use. The ink color options are good.

After reading many articles about the benefits of a mega tank printer versus cartridges, I decided this is the time to try it. I had a Canon Pima that had six different colored cartridges, including gray, and I was always buying ink. This printer will save me money in the long run and so far it’s working perfectly. The only thing I find awkward is when you push in the circular button to turn it off, a message appears on the view screen “turn the power off?” Then you have to use the arrow on the front panel to move it from no to yes, than hit the OK button on the panel. I wish it just turned off with 1 step
