    I purchased this printer thinking it was going to work amazingly, but not so. I ended up returning due to endless problems like paper jams, hardware issues, communication issues, and constantly going offline. My sister told me to get a Brother like her and I did not listen. However, now I use a Brother without issue. What is funny is not long after the return my job gave me an Epson and it has the same problems as the one I returned.

    Maybe we got a lemon, but this printer has a variety of meaningless error messages that keep it from printing. And sometimes it just won’t print at all. Also, it is sooooo sloooow! And the screen is not a touch screen, so you have to learn which buttons to push to make selections. We can’t take the hassle getting this thing to work. Just got it 10 days ago, and returning it today.

    This printer is inadequate for scanning multiple pages, two sided scans or pages with the SLIGHTEST imperfection, tear or lack of smoothness. If any of these are present IT WILL JAM Also the controls are tiny and incoherent. Ignorant sales people had assured a much better product

    I had an Epson artisan 810 printer for 10 years and never had this problem. I bought an Ecotank 3850 and I haven”t used it in a month and now I have to go thru nozzle cleaning possibly waiting overnight. Wish I hadn’t bought this.

    Prints are not true to color. Alignments gets off really quickly. I have had to clean print heads and align multiple times and it is never correct, and wastes a bunch of ink.

    Love the printer but haven't been able to get the scanner portion attached to my new laptop. The ink seems to be going further than cartridges on any of my previous printers ever did.
