Printed a green background. Tried different programs. Tried looking it up online tried youtube but still couldnt get green background to go away. And no one at the store could help me. I asked and all they care at the store i bought it at was about sales not helpimg once something had been purchased

I just got my new printer hooked up and drivers loaded. I used the automatic document feeder when I scanned the first time - no problems. When I tried to scan a second document, the printer wouldn't feed at all. This $400 printer document feeder doesn't work at all, especially compared against the $100 HP printer I had before.

Mediocre product, i expected a better printing detail

This is my 2nd 3850 in two days. Neither would stay connected to my WIFI. This is even true when sitting next to the WIFI router. Connects initially with "excellent" signal and then slips to "poor" rating and will not connect. There is no obvious documentation on this problem. I think it might be you need to have the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels on your modem named differently but not sure. We have 22 other devices on our home network and this new printer is the only one that will not work.

Don't bother. Had nothing but problems with it refusing to print on every piece of paper we put in it without us having to run over and give it permission to print! Half the time won't scan and have to turn it off and on again. So frustrated I believe we're going to return it.

Check Consumer Reports...wish I had...Epson Printers are not reliable. I'm on my second Epson printer like this...the first became unusable just after the warranty expired. I'm an hour into a call on my second one and they can't figure out why the Wi-Fi connection won't work. They wanted me to contact my provider...which is just passing the buck on a printer that doesn't work.

Have only bought ink once since I bought it a year ago which is great. However, this thing is soooo slow!! Prints out a single page fast, but takes a few minutes to spit out the next page half of the time. I wouldn't buy this again.

It’s ok but not worth the price i the ink is highly overrated

Although the amount of pages you can print is very economical, the printer itself is horrible. It is very slow and unreliable. Customer support is difficult to obtain. If you are planning feeding multiple pages to print, stay away from this printer because it takes about 30 minutes per page , especial if there is any color on what you are printing. I currently have a WIFI error on mine , have tried everything, and can't get any help. Can't talk to anyone till Monday! In a nutshell: slow, unreliable, unnecessarily difficult to use and solve issues, and poor costomer service.

In less than a month, there was a hardware issue with the printer, identified by Geek Squad. Printer was returned for full refund. If I hadn't purchased the warranty and had the machine more than 14 days the machine would have had to be sent back to the manufacturer. That just doesn't seem fair. Dislikes about machine: making a copy required pressing waaaay too many buttons. Papers would shoot out across the floor in spite of the extended paper holder.

Pictures when printed are not as sharp as previous Epson printer

Terrible tech support can’t load new firmware that the printer keeps telling me to load but when I called tech support their answer to the problem was if the printer is working don’t worry about it. Why put out firmware updates if they are not important enough to load. AirPrint works sometimes not all the time. Lot of setup work just to get it up and running.

Horrible experience. Purchased on Best Buy credit card of 20+ years, arrived broken and upon return at local Best Buy store - they were rude and would only provide store credit. This is insanity. I am a loyal customer who has spent 1000s upon $1000s over the years on my Best Buy credit card and the customer service was the worst and only store credit. Not even a credit to my Best Buy credit card. This is undeniably horrible customer service of a broken product upon delivery.

I was looking forward to this EPSON printer. I am disappointed it. I am having a lot of problems with this printer. When the printer goes asleep and you try to print, the printer does not "wake up"! It requires to shutdown and start again! This defeats the purpose of this type of printer. I am also having a problem with EPSON software. There is an update that I can't download. I tried everything! I called their support and they are waiting on me call them back. The positive thing is, when it prints it is a great looking paper.

Cheap menus not touch for the price I pay no worth the money

Hard to open to get to ink tanks. Does not 2 side easily.

This printer has been one problem after another, the newest being the paper feeder will not work. Oh, and don’t bother with Geek Squad coverage either…useless unless you have hours to spend trying to get answers and an appointment for service, Hate to say but I see why Amazon is thriving

I finally got this set up last week of December. Disappointed! The colors are washed out. I thought it would be far better.

Had the printer for 2 weeks after Geek Squad installed and now there are printing errors. Can’t print anything. Need to wait more than 10 days for Geek Squad to return to fix

20 minutes to print 12 pages. Would not connect to my TDS internet, would not even see my home wifi. Tried Epson eco tank printer in past with same problem. Called epson and they suggested i get a differant internet provider.
