The plusses are that the printer is easy to setup and the ink is cheap and last forever. The only thing keeping me from saying 5 stars is that it is not super fast printing. It isnt painfully slow but i wish it was a little faster.

the price of the ink is a major influence when I buy a printer. the upfront cost may have been more, but I'll make up for it by not having to buy ink for at least the next 2 years. set up was almost hassle-free, the online youtube videos are a great help

Love it. No more cartridges to dry out on me. Prints so much faster than what I had. Easy to set up as well.

EPSON ECOTANK 3850 This is a great price for this set. Makes awesome prints and the printer is fast. EPSON is a name you can count on. Easy to use. No mess. Fast delivery.

It’s been working extremely well! My daughter uses it constantly for her business and she wore it out. It has saved us a lot of money with the ink. You get a ton of printing projects done with one package of ink. Definitely buy another one when needed.

great printer. I bought it for home school purposes.It is a little slow on printing, but I think that is how it is. Also, I wish there was bluetooth capability, and a touch screen would be nice. Also, would be great if it did duplex scanning. Other than that, great product. The app itself is just OK. needs more advanced settings.

Good printer. Prints quickly and after many uses still has high ink level. Only minor negative thing, it is noisy but good thing is it prints so quickly!

Having recently retired. I needed a printer. This has fulfilled my needs in everyway. Loving the two side printing. Fantastic. Transferring documents though a process like with any printer. It's flawless. Now I'm double sided printing books and manuals for my tools and equipment. Finding binders to fit being the only issue. Absolutely Loving this printer. Images showing great detail. Yet to use photo paper. Though I'm expecting very good images.

Like you, I swam in reviews trying to find a new printer that would not be a disaster. Took the leap on this one for my Mac and really love it. The start-up was relatively easy (just had to download the drivers) but it works great. I think it prints really fast, contrary to some other reviews. I love the charging of the ink with the bottles (no more wondering how much I have left). And I can finally print using AirPrint from my phones - its so easy. Highly recommend.

The hype is indeed real. I purchased this printer 6 months ago and I couldn't be more happier. The print quality is top notch, I'm a moderate to above average user and have printed over 100+ 4x6 on various quality printer paper and the Epson brand paper look the best so far. I'm still solidly sold on Epson Brand.

Replacement for HP smart tank 7602. After many hours trying to connect to the printer, the HP tech recommended choosing a different printer. I liked the smart tank concept so I chose the Epson ET-3850. It connected with no problems and has been printing effortlessly. I’m glad I made the switch.

This has been a wonderful printer. When printing images on a good quality paper, the results are pictures with clean crisp lines and fabulous color.

one month in. the bad software not easy to set up had to call customer service. the default scan time out is goofy. you have to poke at the tiny screen on the machine to disable. Touch screen is way too small and menu is cumbersome. and it is LOUD. I moved it from desk. good news it works and prints quickly. affordable and a small footprint on the desk.

What a pleasant surprise this printer is. Easy to set up, no cartridges and compact size with all the features I wanted.

This is my first Epson. I have had nothing but HP and canon over the years and truth be told i haven't bought anything new for quite some time. Either this is the greatest printer ever or whatever i have owned in the past has been junk. The photos print out incredible and there is a ton of ink left. Take it for what its worth, but i highly recommend this printer.
