My one concern about this was the potential mess with filling it with ink from bottles but the ink doesn't come out of the bottles unless they're latched onto the ink tank. Extremely easy to use. I did have one paper jam since using it but it walked me through how to get the paper unstuck which was nice

Thus far, this printer has been a workhorse. It was a breeze to setup, the software works flawlessly, and it provides quality prints. This is leaps and bounds better than our old HP.

I wanted to have a high quality printer that I could experiment with creatively. You really can't do that with a cartridge printer because of the high cost for each print produced. An eco tank printer, with it's much lower ink costs, lets you do that. So far the outputted pages of have not disappointed.

Very impressed with this Printer and Epson. The printer came securely packaged and was easy to set up with Epson's companion App. This is my first Epson and I am excited by the new Technology for Ink . I printed photos from my Iphone 12 Pro Max and they were spectacular. Although the initial cost is high it is very inexpensive when you factor standard inkjet cartridges year after year , and the operation of the hardware and software are first rate. Highly recommend it . Great job Epson!

I have been an HP user for decades. I like how they recycle their toner cartridges (you just send them back through UPS), but the cost of them has been hitting our business wallet too much lately. I saw that Epson does not deal with cartridges in this model, so we purchased it for printing booklets and poster-sized marketing materials. This is a really nice unit. The colors are to spec and the detail is impressive. We have received a lot of compliments on our posters (11x14inches). We have had it for a month now and am very happy with the purchase thus far.

The Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8550 is a solid all-in-one photo printer that delivers high quality wide-format prints. It's best suited for photographers, artists, and serious hobbyists who need near-professional-quality prints at home. I would not recommend that this printer be used for documents. It's scanner capabilities are sufficient

So far so good. I got this for printing art prints for my business after spending months looking at other printers, reviews, etc. I decided to get this once the price dropped and it did. Otherwise I was going to stick it out with my hp printer which is doing an ok job with the right paper. But I learned that while it can print pretty nicely on matter paper, you need to adjust the settings accordingly to get the best print quality.

This replaced a 13-year-old large-format photo printer from a different company that finally died. So far my test photo prints look wonderful; regular documents are fast; setup was easy; and wireless printing is great! I much prefer the large ink bottles to the old expensive little cartridges that kept running out. Some other reviewers have had problems with the 'flimsy' paper trays, but so far I've been gentle and they worked ok. I haven't scanned yet, but appreciate the feature.

I love this printer. It’s budget friendly while being able to produce pictures that are noticeably better than standard 3 color printers. Dark hair for example will look more realistic. There is still one minor detail that I’ve found annoying and that is the tray underneath to load paper. I put some 4x6 paper in there and the paper curled up, making it get caught. I recommend loading paper when you will use it to prevent that. The back loading works great though and I love the 13x19 photos. I even combined 3 of those in one picture to create a poster size photo that I’m pleased with.

The ET-8550 will print large 19x13 photos, diagrams, maps or a 5x7 envelope or a 4x6 picture or print a label directly on a dvd. I am very pleased with this printers performance. I wanted to make prints of my wife’s art work and that works great too. I wish the scanner plate was larger but it scans perfectly up t0 1200 res. Installation was simple. The touch screen control panel is far more useful and easy to use than my previous eco tank printer. If you want large prints without spending thousands of dollars then I recommend that you try this unit. I’m glad I did.

Got the ET-8550 to replace an older Epson tank printer. This one has two paper in trays plus an oversize rear feeder which the old one didn't. I use 4x6 photo paper in one and 8.5x11 in the other. Love no having to swap papers. Prints everything great. I like that the output tray is mechanical and automatically extends when you print. The rest of the time I leave the tray retracted to clear up desk space. Loading paper into the front trays can be a problem for me as my front access space is limited. The input tray is under the output tray which opens to allow access to the in trays. This ends up being a bit fidgety. Overall I like this printer and love not having to fool around with ink cartridges.

I've been really enjoying this printer! It produces such vibrant colors, which is fantastic. The only thing to note is that the printing speed could be a bit quicker; it typically takes about a minute for each page. Overall, it’s a great choice!

One of my fav printers of all time, color photos come out suprisingly great compared to many "photo-quality" printers I've had in the past. Deducted one star because the printer malfunctioned (back feeders were faulty making the unit unusable). If I hadn't bought a bestbuy replacement plan for the first time in my life, I would have been out a very expensive printer. It sucks I had to spend $200+ on a replacement plan to get a printer to work longer than 1 year. So, minus one star based on the durability of the product.

This is not a small printer. It sits deep and wide on the table (it has a low profile/hight. Ive only had it a few weeks but so far its straight forward amd works as expected. Ive printed 8 photos and they looks great. Printing on regular paper looks goid too. I haven’t done anything to complex, no t-shirts etc. it is nice and wide for printing on extra large paper. I’m confident it will be a good priner for year to come.
