Excellent prints, easy to set up and operate, love the ink tanks...much more cost effective than cartridges. I have gotten excellent results in 4x 6 all the way through 13 x 19. I highly recommend this printer as a middle lit mid-high evel photo printer.

Printer quality is good and prints are good, but as usual, it's Epson and the firmware updates more often than any Windows computer and most of the time, the update doesn't work the first time you attempt it. Other than that insanely inconvenient issue, the printer is designed well...unless you change media sizes often and then you have to perform minor surgery every time you change. Keep in mind that this will keep you from putting the printer on any shelf or table that doesn't have easy access to the back of the printer. Overall, I like the print quality and the printer is good quality, but the design seems like it wasn't entirely well thought out.

The printer is pretty good. easy set up. Love that you can print bigger pictures. The only issue is that the front cassette has a glitch that it does not recognize the paper after you use the rear feeder. have to call support to see how to solve this issue.

Love the way it prints. I have 2 of them. but they jam and have issues.

Love this printer! It does everything and was worth the extra money for the 8550 vs the 8500. The colors are vibrant and I still haven't used all the functions that are available. It is so easy to use and the touch screen simplifies anything you are trying to do!

excellent poster printer, easy to use. only thing to note is when doing bordlerless, you need to clean the tracks every 15 or so prints. otherwise you run the risk of getting ink on the back of you rprints if it pools too much too fast,

So far this thing has been wonderful for my crafting. I bought it to make shower invitations and decor for a friend and it worked wonderfully. I just wish it used ink tanks that were changeable instead of ink you have to load. But that’s a minimal inconvenience for now nice this printer is.

Great printer , let's you get away from the b.s of ink cartridges, I'm going to purchase a duplicate model for sublimation. Great print quality no hang ups , and setup is easy , take the time to follow the setup instructions and printer head adjustments.

I came to the store the service was decent but I thought I was buying a sublimation printer. That's what I was told by the store person that helped me find the Epson 8550. I realized upon getting it home after I put the ink in it that it was not a sublimation printer unless I put sublimation ink in that and I feel like they should have told me this from the get-go. This led to me being confused and setting up the printer as a regular inkjet. I was not able to use it for sublimation. I bought this for my art business and I expected that I would be able to use it for sublimation. The printer overall for other things other than the sublimation has been a great printer until recently. The ink started to blot up I've done cleaning and everything else but it's messing up when I try to print things out now

Converted to sublimation. No issues. Easy setup. Great quality. I have purchased 2 and converted the other to DTF.

I purchased this printer in August 2023 and have been using it approximately one month. Following the instructions, I found setup to be easy. I use this printer strictly as a photo printer. Thus far I have used HP Premium Glossy Photo Paper in various sizes mostly because I have a lot of it on hand. The printer handles 4x6 thru 11x17 flawlessly. The color is vibrant and the photo quality excellent. Portrait and landscape photos are stunning. Printing using the high-quality setting is slow as opposed to printing on the standard setting. The difference in the quality of the print between the two settings is barely noticeable. I’ve printed about 100 pictures in various sizes, all ink tanks are showing only slight usage. As I said, I’ve only been using the printer a month, thus far I’m totally satisfied with the way it performs. The printer is a bit costly, however over time the savings on bottled ink opposed to cartridges will offset the cost of the printer.

This print was absolutely amazing and ot was just what i needed in a printer. Love how i was able print bigger. And the ink quality was great.
