Loved this printer so much, the prints are so bright and its perfect for my party decoration business, definitely recommend this printer, I will be buying my second one soon.

Easy to use and prints 13x19 set up was fast and easy, it has a touch screen that makes it easier to get to the settings.

Great printer , let's you get away from the b.s of ink cartridges, I'm going to purchase a duplicate model for sublimation. Great print quality no hang ups , and setup is easy , take the time to follow the setup instructions and printer head adjustments.

bought it mostly for printing photos. was sick of HP cartridge prices and HP saying it was not a "genuine" HP cartridge which they were. I am very very happy with 8550 ecotank system. It seems the printer has tendency to "jam" with 4x6 and 5x7 photo paper unless you only fill tray no more than half full. I will try a different brand (not HP) of photo paper in future. the cost savings on ink will be great!

The printer is pretty good. easy set up. Love that you can print bigger pictures. The only issue is that the front cassette has a glitch that it does not recognize the paper after you use the rear feeder. have to call support to see how to solve this issue.

I purchased this printer in August 2023 and have been using it approximately one month. Following the instructions, I found setup to be easy. I use this printer strictly as a photo printer. Thus far I have used HP Premium Glossy Photo Paper in various sizes mostly because I have a lot of it on hand. The printer handles 4x6 thru 11x17 flawlessly. The color is vibrant and the photo quality excellent. Portrait and landscape photos are stunning. Printing using the high-quality setting is slow as opposed to printing on the standard setting. The difference in the quality of the print between the two settings is barely noticeable. I’ve printed about 100 pictures in various sizes, all ink tanks are showing only slight usage. As I said, I’ve only been using the printer a month, thus far I’m totally satisfied with the way it performs. The printer is a bit costly, however over time the savings on bottled ink opposed to cartridges will offset the cost of the printer.

I’ve successfully converted my Epson 8550 into a DTF printer, and it has proven to be one of the best investments I’ve made for my business. The printer's size is ideal for my production needs, and the color output is exceptionally vibrant. Once the time is right, I fully intend to purchase a second unit to expand my capabilities.

Great printer for making large format image prints.

We love the quality and speed of printing. It feeds transparencies and card stock very well, no more feeding one sheet at a time! There is an issue where it randomly resets to needing feeding paper from the rear port, I have to reset to factory defaults to fix it, I plan to call tech support to figure this out. Otherwise we love this printer!!

This printer has been better than expected! Print quality has been better than anticipated when you pair it with the right paper. This printer is not meant for the average consumer, but chances are if your looking into this printer you might be looking into the next level of printing and should have no problem navigating nuances of getting a great print. Yes it does general printing easy and without breaking a sweat, but this printer is capable of some extraordinary prints if you dial into your printing skills. What sets this printer apart from the others is its evotank which is extremely cheap in comparison to other printers. Of course if you only print occasionally, you can find a cheaper upfront photo printer with expensive photo inks. So choose wisely! I like printing and I like even more knowing i wont break the bank printing to my hearts content!

An absolute marvel of engineering along with simple and smooth software (on a Mac and iOS). The ink bottle loading is a breeze. Photographic and large format print quality and speed are off the charts. My previous ink-jet experience with Cannon/HP was of pain and misery, this Epson model is unbelievable, printing 13 x 19" sheets and 8.5 x 11" photographic.
