Printer quality is good and prints are good, but as usual, it's Epson and the firmware updates more often than any Windows computer and most of the time, the update doesn't work the first time you attempt it. Other than that insanely inconvenient issue, the printer is designed well...unless you change media sizes often and then you have to perform minor surgery every time you change. Keep in mind that this will keep you from putting the printer on any shelf or table that doesn't have easy access to the back of the printer. Overall, I like the print quality and the printer is good quality, but the design seems like it wasn't entirely well thought out.

I came to the store the service was decent but I thought I was buying a sublimation printer. That's what I was told by the store person that helped me find the Epson 8550. I realized upon getting it home after I put the ink in it that it was not a sublimation printer unless I put sublimation ink in that and I feel like they should have told me this from the get-go. This led to me being confused and setting up the printer as a regular inkjet. I was not able to use it for sublimation. I bought this for my art business and I expected that I would be able to use it for sublimation. The printer overall for other things other than the sublimation has been a great printer until recently. The ink started to blot up I've done cleaning and everything else but it's messing up when I try to print things out now

Great printer. Went through the setup, connected and it works great. Quality is very nice. Printing from my phone was fast and easy.

Ive shopped for several years and just wouldn't commit to an expensive photo printer. Finally grew tired of sending my digital images to print labs. Plenty of research on YouTube videos and the Epson 8550 was my choice. No regrets at all. The upfront expense will.pay dividends with ink tanks vs cartridges. The quality is stunning. These prints are for personal use and family but the quality of the printed image is sellable. We'll see what the long term benefits are but for now I'm pleased. After years of filling hard drives with images, its great to see them adorning my walls.

I've had the Epson printer for a couple of years now. The ink lasts a long time. Paper feeds without constant jamming. Print quality is good.

I am so pleased with this printer. I am an amateur photographer and mostly take photos of animals at the zoo. My old wide format printer bit the dust and had to find a replacement so I could print 11X14. This printer is so good I have started reprinted old photos that were printed on the old printer. The old printer had ink cartridges and would drink the ink like a fish. I have printed about a dozen photos already and the ink on this thing has barely budged. With the old printer I would have been looking at new cartridges already. Even the price of the bottles of ink for this think is well worth the money you will get out of them.

I love the print quality and the ink lasts forever. I do have to clean the printer heads quite often though.

Best printer I have ever had. The printing is pristine, supports a wide selection of paper. The ink is super cheap and great quality.

I bought this for my wife for her adventure into sticker making. Set up was fairly easy getting the ink installed and hooking the printer up to wifi. It was all a matter of figuring out the multiple options of what the printer has to offer and where we needed the paper to be fed from. Ink tanks are beastly as we have printed a multitude of items already for about a month now and looks like we have just barely ticked a mark down on tank levels. I would recommend if you're looking for a top tier printer. Is it pricey? A bit compared to other printers that do the same but you definitely get what you pay for.

Once set up, this is a great photo printer with near lab quality when using ultra premium satin photo paper. The eco tank feature is amazing. The inks are affordable and last a long time. I've had this printer for a month now and I've printed over 100 full page. Borderless photos and the ink has barely dropped. I've heard some issues from people who only use the printer intermittently. Issues being the print head? Clogging for the mat being saturated from automatic cleaning. The solution to this is to print regularly at least once a week. This keeps the print head fresh and ready.

This has to the best photo pronter I’ve ever had. I was skeptical of the quality the printer would produce being ised to Canon photo printers. I have produced 8x11 amd now 13x19 printa and the pics look professional. Thw color reproduction is top notch. Also with the amount of prints ive done with a standard printer I would be on my 3rd set of ink cartridges not with the Epson 8550. This printer holds a large of amount of ink and uses the ink wisely. Prints colorful without leaving wet prints. I havent tried a grayscale or black and white print yet but im sire those will look amzing as well.

This printer is user friendly, great copies, colors are bright. I like the overall size, it’s quiet, love it will take up to 13 x 19 paper. I use this printer everyday and would recommend it.

Pretty good. I use this for art prints and stickers and the quality is pretty sharp. Only complaint would be sometimes the colors don't always show up as vivid as the original photograph or I have had a few random ink spots on prints. Still learning how to best operate the machine but so far, I am pleased.
