Upgraded from a et3600 to this et8550 because i needed a printer that could handle heavy card stock. Which it does great. Not sure im keen on the automatic driven paper output tray, we'll have to see how that turns out in the long run. But i think I'd rather have the old manual pull out tray. The legal paper size scanner is a definate plus.

Don’t expect quality prints or customer service

So I went into my local store to resolve the issue, and to get the correct thing I ordered, and they said they could not replace it for me and only offered me a refund. Customer service wasted a lot of my time and were extremely inconsiderate and unhelpful. Don’t waste your time here and order it from anywhere else. As for the actual printer itself, once I got my refund from best buy I ordered it from a different website and it arrived quickly and safely. If you are expecting professional quality prints, just be warned that it leaves roller marks on prints and bleeds ink a lot. I tried every possible solution to get rid of the roller marks but found nothing that worked. I am a professional artist and an epson customer of over 10 years and quite frankly I’m pretty disappointed in this newer model. It is an ok quality printer, but not worth it for the price. The colors look very good, but not significantly different or better than how the older models printed, I thought the inclusion of the grey ink would make a big difference but not really.
